Episode 250 - And The Nominees Are....

On this episode we discuss our thoughts on Ahsoka as well as the nominees for the Game Awards.

[00:00:16] Welcome to Crashing Game Night!

[00:00:18] My name is Matt DiOriot, your host as always.

[00:00:21] We can actually start talking about the shows we've been watching because, you know, the

[00:00:26] strike is over.

[00:00:28] I am joined by the Beanie One, as always, Zerard Barara.

[00:00:32] What's up everybody?

[00:00:34] How are all the nerds doing?

[00:00:37] That's right, the nerds out there.

[00:00:39] You know, we need to convo because, yeah, the strike is over, baby.

[00:00:46] And that, ladies and gentlemen, hanging out on Animal Crossing

[00:00:50] is our version of Anthony Michael Hall's sidekick from 16 Candles, the baby face

[00:00:56] one Thea Walsh.

[00:00:58] I will be honest, I have never watched 16 Candles.

[00:01:01] You know what?

[00:01:03] But at this point, I'm not surprised.

[00:01:04] I'm not surprised.

[00:01:05] That's OK.

[00:01:07] So you'll get the reference.

[00:01:09] Jerry gets the reference.

[00:01:10] Look at the character.

[00:01:11] Look at the look at the sunglasses he's wearing.

[00:01:14] It's the freaking sidekick.

[00:01:15] Awesome.

[00:01:16] Oh, awesome.

[00:01:18] That's that's so cool.

[00:01:20] Yeah. OK, yes.

[00:01:22] That's a good one.

[00:01:24] That's a good one.

[00:01:25] I like that. See, I'm back.

[00:01:27] I need to get back to our movie references because, you know,

[00:01:29] then have here's a blockbuster.

[00:01:31] Um, anyways, we got to talk about tonight.

[00:01:35] So let's just quick get I want to pick up right on that conversation.

[00:01:38] We were just having in reference to Loki.

[00:01:41] I have not watched the end of Loki season two, which just happened.

[00:01:46] So we don't really want to go into any spoilers

[00:01:47] because there's some people are just going to watch it.

[00:01:49] Yeah.

[00:01:50] But yes, as we were talking about Tom Hiddleston is actually he was

[00:01:54] on Jimmy Fallon the other night and actually did announce

[00:01:56] that he is done after after this with Loki

[00:02:01] for the MC.

[00:02:02] Now, that being said, we know money could talk

[00:02:07] and they could come back to see, could come back with a big massive offer

[00:02:12] because there's now rumors floating around that they're going to try

[00:02:15] and bring back the original Avengers because apparently the MCU

[00:02:18] as a whole is not doing well post and I heard a rumor too.

[00:02:23] Some people asked Scarlett Johansson like, hey, we heard you might be coming.

[00:02:28] I feel like you.

[00:02:29] Yeah, I'm just like, is it a zombie movie?

[00:02:32] Yeah, yeah.

[00:02:33] Yeah, interesting.

[00:02:35] So it'll be interesting to see what they do.

[00:02:37] Kevin Fahey has said he hasn't heard anything about it.

[00:02:39] So well, it'll be interesting because like, did you hear the other news

[00:02:44] about fighting was he put his hat in to

[00:02:49] to be the head for Star Wars Division?

[00:02:54] They've already got Dave Filoni and John Favreau for that.

[00:02:57] But they haven't announced.

[00:03:00] And OK, that's exactly.

[00:03:01] I totally agree.

[00:03:03] But that's it's either a rumor or like it's it's been said that he threw

[00:03:10] his hat in for consideration for.

[00:03:13] For I get it.

[00:03:14] The division, but I feel like I don't want it.

[00:03:17] Like I like what Fagi's done with MCU, but as well as I don't necessarily

[00:03:22] want Star Wars to get its universe a little overcom polluted like MCU is.

[00:03:28] So it wasn't the head of Star Wars.

[00:03:31] Is he wanted to make a Star Wars movie?

[00:03:34] And OK, and he had to develop a project since 2019.

[00:03:39] According to the Hollywood reporter, his movie is dead.

[00:03:44] Oh, OK.

[00:03:47] And he had hired Michael Waldron, who wrote Loki to pen the script.

[00:03:54] Oh, here's my thing is I let Kevin Fahey stay in Marvel.

[00:04:00] John Favreau and Dave Filoni are doing a tremendous job with Star Wars right now.

[00:04:06] Kathleen Kennedy just needs to step the fuck out of the way

[00:04:09] and let them do what they need to do.

[00:04:12] Yeah, but they also need to be named the heads of the Star Wars.

[00:04:16] Exactly. Let her still be over Lucasfilm find whatever, but let them be.

[00:04:21] That's the other thing I still don't understand.

[00:04:23] One, you have Favreau who has clearly proven himself time and time again.

[00:04:29] Not only a Marvel because he did the first big MCU movie, which was Iron Man.

[00:04:35] Yep. And on top of that, we've got the Mandalorian

[00:04:39] and all the Star Wars lore that that has been successful.

[00:04:43] Yes. That has been Dave Filoni and John Favreau

[00:04:47] and Dave Filoni, who is like the hands behind everything of all of that.

[00:04:54] Literally, maybe we say maybe we say the heir to the empire.

[00:05:00] Yes.

[00:05:01] Exactly.

[00:05:03] To he was apprenticed to George Lucas,

[00:05:07] like everything he learned straight from the creator.

[00:05:11] Yeah.

[00:05:11] So like, why is it even a question?

[00:05:14] But it's still a question.

[00:05:15] Dude, he was like when he got, I guess I thought it was a rumor

[00:05:18] that Fagi was throwing in his hat.

[00:05:20] But, you know, obviously people are still trying to let's

[00:05:24] let's talk about Dave Filoni.

[00:05:26] Yeah. And the heir to the empire reference.

[00:05:29] Is we get to talk about this fucking Ahsoka.

[00:05:33] Yes. Oh my God.

[00:05:34] Thank you for the strike being over with because yeah, yeah.

[00:05:38] We've we have been chomping at the bit

[00:05:41] to actually talk about the stuff we've been watching them.

[00:05:43] We've been seeing and stuff like that.

[00:05:44] But we haven't because some of our good friends are part of

[00:05:50] SAG and we did not want to do anything counterproductive.

[00:05:54] We also wanted to support.

[00:05:55] Yeah. So that being said,

[00:06:00] Rebels part two, a.k.a. Ahsoka.

[00:06:04] I thought it was fantastic.

[00:06:06] It was all the time.

[00:06:07] Fantastic. All the amazing times.

[00:06:09] And then yeah, the tie in from the end of Rebels to Ahsoka.

[00:06:14] Yep. Awesome.

[00:06:15] Like, dude, we spoke about that like for like an hour, bro.

[00:06:20] Like that was oh, yeah.

[00:06:22] So much fun.

[00:06:23] And I have been talking about this.

[00:06:25] Done. Yeah.

[00:06:26] It's over weeks.

[00:06:27] But I I honestly love the fact that we didn't get a happy ending.

[00:06:33] We got a fucking Empire Strikes Back ending right on that show.

[00:06:37] Dude, epic setup like that.

[00:06:39] Like not only it didn't.

[00:06:41] So it should be though.

[00:06:42] It didn't feel like it felt like a fresh new story that like, oh,

[00:06:46] oh man, oh, war is coming.

[00:06:49] We're like, yeah, hope.

[00:06:51] Ask a new hope.

[00:06:52] Ask but like a fresh and like current.

[00:06:55] And oh, man. Yeah.

[00:06:58] And what?

[00:06:59] Some people don't.

[00:07:00] Muff, not Mark talking.

[00:07:02] I'm sorry.

[00:07:03] Thrawn. General Thrawn like.

[00:07:06] Admiral. Yeah.

[00:07:08] And I think that's the.

[00:07:09] And I think that's the thing is like a lot of people who didn't watch Rebels.

[00:07:12] Right.

[00:07:13] They don't know exactly who you understand.

[00:07:16] I I have known who Thrawn is since the scene my senior year in high school.

[00:07:21] Yeah, you read you read the books in 97.

[00:07:24] Timothy's on the air to the Empire.

[00:07:27] So we like, yeah, we know what.

[00:07:32] And there's the other time.

[00:07:33] I think it's cheating more.

[00:07:35] You know, even more in detail.

[00:07:37] Yes. Oh, meticulous.

[00:07:39] The wrong. How much of a.

[00:07:41] Oh my God.

[00:07:42] Like strategist he is.

[00:07:45] Think about this.

[00:07:46] The best way to put it is Darth Vader is to the Sith.

[00:07:50] As Admiral Thrawn is to the Imperial fleet.

[00:07:54] Like, yeah, he is like he he was Palpatine's master tactician.

[00:08:02] There's a reason why him and half the fleet weren't at Endor.

[00:08:07] They were off doing other shit and seeing him live action like that.

[00:08:15] It was like being a kid again and reading those books.

[00:08:18] They are kind of just the fact that they they brought the the voice actor

[00:08:24] Skarsgard for for the live action.

[00:08:28] It was awesome.

[00:08:30] And he did a great.

[00:08:31] He did an amazing thing like another thing is seeing family.

[00:08:34] Like that whole family is fricking talented, too.

[00:08:36] Yes, they are.

[00:08:37] Holy crap.

[00:08:37] And I think seeing and now they're both they've both been in Star Wars now, too.

[00:08:42] Because his brother.

[00:08:43] Oh, yes.

[00:08:44] Rogue One.

[00:08:46] No, no, no.

[00:08:48] The TV show.

[00:08:51] Andor Andor, he's an andor.

[00:08:53] Oh, OK. Yeah.

[00:08:57] So yeah, it is.

[00:09:01] It's great.

[00:09:02] And I love seeing Sabine be the Jedi, but also be the Mandalorian.

[00:09:08] Like you can see both of her sides.

[00:09:11] I like that she was I like that she was still like rough around the edges

[00:09:15] and still like even now still needs training.

[00:09:17] But we see her find her groove, especially like,

[00:09:22] especially when a Jedi finds their the fight the fighting style that suits them.

[00:09:28] Which which was kind of ironic that it was Saber Blaster.

[00:09:33] But that was awesome.

[00:09:35] And the way I came out like it was cool.

[00:09:37] And yeah, yeah, I love the actress first to be like the whole

[00:09:41] the whole show was just to me incredibly solid.

[00:09:45] Yeah, I would say par with with Mandalorian.

[00:09:48] And it was just

[00:09:49] we got some some more like Jedi sides of everything.

[00:09:56] And yeah, yeah, I was really happy with it.

[00:09:59] And as and the actor who played Ezra.

[00:10:03] Dude, I think everybody was just kudos to whoever casted.

[00:10:07] Yeah, the casting was great.

[00:10:10] I mean, it's Dave Filoni. Let's be honest.

[00:10:13] He casted all of it.

[00:10:16] But no, when I'm talking about it like Mads,

[00:10:18] Mickelson, right, Lars's brother was the guy who designed the Death Star.

[00:10:23] Oh, yeah, yeah, that's right.

[00:10:24] He's in Rogue One. Remember, he's the one that he won.

[00:10:27] Yeah. So there's so many family, the other scars guard.

[00:10:32] He was I mean, look at all the like the different family references,

[00:10:36] right? Because you McGregor,

[00:10:40] his wife played Cinduola. Oh, yeah.

[00:10:46] So it's, you know, it's kind of Mary Louise instead.

[00:10:49] Yep. McGregor now.

[00:10:51] Well, I don't think I don't know.

[00:10:53] I don't think she had her. No, I don't think so.

[00:10:55] But either way, like I loved all of it and I love. Oh, yeah.

[00:10:58] I love the whole just not to Leia, you know, tearing it.

[00:11:03] Oh, yeah. You know, and Mon Mothra was like,

[00:11:05] I don't believe you for a second,

[00:11:09] but I'm not going to go against Leia type of a thing.

[00:11:12] So like just those little things, right?

[00:11:15] It just tied everything in and it is going to be great.

[00:11:19] And I am waiting.

[00:11:21] I can't wait to see how Filoni ties his Thrawn

[00:11:27] movies, you know, I know it's one,

[00:11:29] but you know, it's going to end up turning into trilogy, probably

[00:11:32] those link into how it all sets up,

[00:11:36] you know, the the sequel trilogy, right?

[00:11:40] So it'll be it'll be interesting.

[00:11:43] Yeah, I have I highly predict that it's probably going to be the movie

[00:11:48] then the second season and then the announcement of the next two.

[00:11:54] Oh, speaking of announcements, it did come out

[00:11:57] and it hasn't been confirmed by Lucasfilm yet,

[00:12:01] but it does look like we are getting a season two of Kenobi.

[00:12:06] Please. Yes. Yes.

[00:12:08] That should be good. All right. So thank God.

[00:12:11] So I love you, Ewan.

[00:12:13] Like if you're ever if you ever want to be on the show, please.

[00:12:17] Anybody from Star Wars?

[00:12:18] Anyone at that point. But Ewan, I love you.

[00:12:22] You're the man.

[00:12:24] So real quick, just to show this off before we actually get into the categories.

[00:12:30] Game Awards was the nominees were announced yesterday.

[00:12:33] Here's the most nominated publishers.

[00:12:36] Oh, wow.

[00:12:39] I don't know why my screen share is paused.

[00:12:45] Hold on. I was going to show it.

[00:12:47] Me technical difficulties. It's OK.

[00:12:50] Fricking.

[00:12:51] Since we're talking about live action and we have a little bit of a space here.

[00:12:55] I hope you guys got to see the first trailer of the live action avatar,

[00:13:01] the last airbender on that.

[00:13:02] Thank you for sending that to me. Yes, it looks amazing.

[00:13:05] It does. It looks like it's going to finally be done.

[00:13:08] Like I can't wait for it.

[00:13:10] It looks so highly highly made me want to like I have to finish the show first.

[00:13:15] All right. There we go. OK. Good.

[00:13:17] So here we go. All right.

[00:13:19] So most out as far as the nomination is good, we're going to go in.

[00:13:22] And unfortunately, Jason is not here.

[00:13:24] So it is really going to be a true three person.

[00:13:29] But Nintendo led the way with 15 nominations this year.

[00:13:33] PlayStation right behind him with 13.

[00:13:35] You had 10 nominations from the Xbox Game Studios with Bethesda Blizzard and Xbox

[00:13:40] nine from Epic eight from Capcom, Larry and Square Enix,

[00:13:45] six for EA and four nominations for CD Project Red and Riot Games.

[00:13:49] Hmm. Oh, yeah.

[00:13:52] But.

[00:13:53] Let's get into this. Let's do it.

[00:13:56] The nominees are.

[00:14:02] Let me sign in so we can vote here. Oh, yeah.

[00:14:11] We'll just do this under my instance.

[00:14:13] It's easier to connect to.

[00:14:15] So you're connected to your password.

[00:14:18] No, you can't.

[00:14:19] Anyway, so game of the year are the nomination nominees are Alan Wake,

[00:14:23] two Baldur's Gate, three Marvel Spider-Man, two Resident Evil, four

[00:14:28] Super Mario Brothers Wonder and Tears of the Kingdom.

[00:14:32] For me, as much as I like seeing Mario Wonder up there,

[00:14:37] I can't vote for Mario Wonder because I don't think it truly is game of the year.

[00:14:41] I think tears of the kingdom for me.

[00:14:44] I know you guys have been playing it.

[00:14:46] You guys would be able to say that.

[00:14:48] Still love it, but no, I'd say Baldur's Gate.

[00:14:51] I would say I haven't played Baldur's Gate.

[00:14:53] I was I mean, it's things about Baldur's Gate three.

[00:14:56] Same thing.

[00:14:57] And I watched things.

[00:14:58] Yeah, I watched like a couple hours of nothing but gameplay.

[00:15:04] You can do a whole lot in that game.

[00:15:07] Yeah.

[00:15:07] And I've also watched a little bit of Alan Wake.

[00:15:11] I've heard amazing things about Alan Wake.

[00:15:14] I kind of say, Matt, I'm kind of curious and like kind of want to play it now.

[00:15:19] It looks. Did you play the first one, Jerry?

[00:15:21] I didn't.

[00:15:22] I played the first one years ago on the I did watch a buddy of mine play it.

[00:15:27] So I have seen it, but I didn't play it myself.

[00:15:31] This one is interesting.

[00:15:33] But my would my vote would be Baldur's Gate three, even though I haven't played it.

[00:15:36] But I know everybody's talking about that game.

[00:15:39] And I've no so many people that are playing it.

[00:15:42] So and no offense to Resident Evil 4.

[00:15:44] Like I don't want a remake to win game of the year ever.

[00:15:48] OK, all right.

[00:15:50] That's game direction.

[00:15:52] So awarded for outstanding creative vision and innovative innovation

[00:15:55] in game direction and design.

[00:15:57] So we've got Alan Wake, two Baldur's Gate three,

[00:15:59] Baldur's Gate, Marvel's Spiderman two to Mario Wonder and Tears of the Kingdom.

[00:16:04] Now, keep in mind, though, this is also innovation.

[00:16:07] So yeah, Baldur's Gate.

[00:16:09] Have they really innovated above their normal formula?

[00:16:12] Yeah, that's be the question.

[00:16:13] A lot of game studios are going to follow this form, this formula now.

[00:16:18] Yeah, I'm telling you.

[00:16:19] I've heard a lot about, you know, just everything from a design perspective

[00:16:23] from Alan Wake, too, as well.

[00:16:26] You know, as much as we love Nintendo and PlayStation,

[00:16:29] Mario Wonder isn't innovative enough.

[00:16:32] No, weren't that.

[00:16:34] It's a new feeling.

[00:16:35] I feel like Tears is very innovative.

[00:16:38] Because I mean, it would say one of the first games

[00:16:41] that at least I've seen where that you can really create

[00:16:46] and then it and not be the primary purpose of the game.

[00:16:50] And that's where I think from a game direction, design, innovation perspective,

[00:16:54] I think Tears of the Kingdom for me over Baldur's Gate just because I mean,

[00:16:58] come on, think about this.

[00:16:59] How many Geneva Convention violations did we actually see when that came out

[00:17:06] in the different ways everyone was.

[00:17:08] And some and some pretty, pretty great like engineering.

[00:17:13] Yes. Yeah.

[00:17:14] Dude, I mean, building like every time I would see Tick Tock,

[00:17:17] it looked like I was watching Iron Man 2 when he was looking.

[00:17:20] Yeah. When he was in court and looking at all the different versions of Iron Man.

[00:17:24] I can go with that. OK.

[00:17:26] I would say for me, innovation would be Tears of the Kingdom.

[00:17:30] OK, I agree. Cool.

[00:17:32] All right.

[00:17:33] So the next category is best narrative.

[00:17:36] So for outstanding storytelling and their development in the game,

[00:17:39] we've got Alan Wake, two Baldur's Gate three cyberpunk,

[00:17:43] Final Fantasy 16 and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

[00:17:49] It's a little hard for me.

[00:17:51] I haven't played Phantom Liberty.

[00:17:55] It's it's insane.

[00:17:57] Spider-Man is amazing.

[00:17:59] The Spider-Man was great.

[00:18:00] It was a it was a solid story.

[00:18:03] But like once again, I would say it's a solid sequel.

[00:18:06] I haven't played Final Fantasy FF 16 up until the point I'm I'm at

[00:18:11] in the game has been really good.

[00:18:14] So but I've heard from me,

[00:18:17] from everybody that I know in the gaming community that's played

[00:18:20] on to the story for them.

[00:18:23] It's kind of down.

[00:18:25] I'm down for Alan Wake and like Baldur's Gate is a lot of like

[00:18:29] you like your own story and like make your decision.

[00:18:32] I agree with that.

[00:18:33] So yeah, I would go with that.

[00:18:34] I'm like, yeah.

[00:18:37] All right. Our next category is

[00:18:41] best art direction for outstanding creative and or technical

[00:18:44] achievement in artistic design and animation.

[00:18:46] This is a hard category because you got Alan Wake, too.

[00:18:49] You do have Mario and tears.

[00:18:51] You have Liza P and high five rush.

[00:18:53] I kind of I really kind of want to vote for Liza P.

[00:18:57] Liza, I kind of want to go for high five rush.

[00:19:00] For me, yeah.

[00:19:01] High five rush from the game from the artistic design of that.

[00:19:06] I've heard nothing but great things.

[00:19:08] Liza P is the same way.

[00:19:09] You guys are going to send me a trailer.

[00:19:11] I haven't seen it.

[00:19:11] Very innovative artistic way and like everything and like

[00:19:16] I why can I think of how I can describe it for you?

[00:19:20] For me, though, from what I've seen, though,

[00:19:22] I'm more on the side of Liza P than high five rush.

[00:19:26] OK, I mean, I haven't I actually haven't seen any scenes of

[00:19:30] oh, I see. So quite a bit.

[00:19:33] Yeah, man. I know.

[00:19:35] I know the mechanics and everything is like really smooth

[00:19:38] and looks beautiful.

[00:19:39] So it's it's all it's whatever you guys choose.

[00:19:42] It's the even even the villains and the enemies are are like interesting.

[00:19:47] Like, well, Jerry, would you agree

[00:19:49] of an artistic design and animation perspective that Liza P is worthy?

[00:19:53] For me, it would be between Alan Wake and Liza P.

[00:19:56] But I would honestly say I want to say Liza P for me.

[00:19:59] Like, OK, cool.

[00:20:01] As much as Mario looks great, you know,

[00:20:04] that's not high, high, high P rush.

[00:20:07] No, high five rush. High five rush.

[00:20:09] You guys get to send me a trailer.

[00:20:11] Well, OK, best score in music for outstanding music,

[00:20:14] inclusive of score original song and our licensed soundtrack.

[00:20:17] We've got Alan Wake, two Baldur's Gate, three Final Fantasy, 16,

[00:20:21] high five rush and Tears of the Kingdom.

[00:20:24] I'm going to default to you guys,

[00:20:26] because I mean, I've barely heard anything from Baldur's Gate

[00:20:30] like just from trailers and you guys played Final Fantasy.

[00:20:34] I mean, I merely go high five rush primarily

[00:20:37] because that's one of the big mechanics in the game.

[00:20:40] Really? Music. Yeah.

[00:20:42] However, I can't figure it or if 16, I guess.

[00:20:45] See, for me is I get Tears of the Kingdom

[00:20:48] and what not being on this.

[00:20:50] But here's the key was soundtrack for me.

[00:20:54] It's it's FF 16.

[00:20:55] I mean, Masayoshi is so can.

[00:20:57] I mean, the score is phenomenal.

[00:21:01] It it ranks up there with some of the best, you know,

[00:21:04] with eight and seven and nine and 10 and 13.

[00:21:08] Like it is a very good score.

[00:21:11] Like very, very good.

[00:21:12] So well, I'll default to you guys.

[00:21:16] So however that being said, as much as I really enjoy it,

[00:21:20] like you are right.

[00:21:21] High five rush.

[00:21:21] It is very much the soundtrack is very much

[00:21:25] the centerpiece of that game.

[00:21:28] From the everything I've seen.

[00:21:29] So for me, I want to toss them.

[00:21:32] I want to go high five rush as much as I love the sort of FF 16

[00:21:36] and because like I would describe like with it being soundtrack

[00:21:40] and high five rush was like to describe it to Jerry would be like, you know, how.

[00:21:46] Hey, look who decided to show up.

[00:21:48] Baby driver.

[00:21:49] Yeah.

[00:21:50] Yeah.

[00:21:51] How like the soundtrack you guys.

[00:21:53] Hey, you are 30 minutes late, sir.

[00:21:58] What's up, baby?

[00:21:59] I mean, how dare is how dare you, sir?

[00:22:01] How dare you?

[00:22:03] How do you disrespect talking like that, man?

[00:22:06] How dare you?

[00:22:08] Wasn't a disrespect to him, Jay?

[00:22:11] Like, yeah, it is.

[00:22:14] Yeah, it is. Yeah, it is.

[00:22:15] I've been waiting for my slumber, guys.

[00:22:18] How's it going?

[00:22:20] Oh, you're a.

[00:22:21] Add in. I've been dead.

[00:22:24] That's the major disservice.

[00:22:25] Really, that's what it takes to wake you up is is just a.

[00:22:29] So for real, there's a disturbance in the horse.

[00:22:33] What's going on?

[00:22:34] Even if you had agreed with me, FF 16, bro.

[00:22:38] OK, real quick.

[00:22:39] All right, we can we can change it if, you know, Jay's here.

[00:22:43] But just to catch you up.

[00:22:45] No, you're good so far.

[00:22:46] I've been watching.

[00:22:47] So game of the year.

[00:22:48] I've been loving looking.

[00:22:48] OK, Baldur's Gate.

[00:22:50] Yep.

[00:22:52] I would agree with that.

[00:22:52] Tears.

[00:22:53] We'll get that.

[00:22:53] Yeah, that's it for Alan Wake.

[00:22:56] Art direction with Liza P.

[00:22:59] So best score.

[00:23:01] So apparently the chat is saying.

[00:23:03] Chasing to go with.

[00:23:05] Yes, sir.

[00:23:06] All right, so we will change our vote.

[00:23:08] Dude, so can is.

[00:23:10] Oh my God, he does work, man.

[00:23:13] Like, but at the same time, high fight rush, though,

[00:23:15] from the trailer and everything I've seen from Game Plimals,

[00:23:17] that also has a very good.

[00:23:19] You know what happened last year?

[00:23:21] We didn't do metal sleigh, metal singer or

[00:23:25] Hellslinger, you know, and that game was literally.

[00:23:28] All right.

[00:23:29] So best.

[00:23:30] We didn't do that one design.

[00:23:32] So guys, I need you to watch the chat because I do have.

[00:23:35] I'm watching it.

[00:23:36] Yeah, you know, the voting screen up on my full monitor

[00:23:39] so I can't see the chat.

[00:23:41] So I got you.

[00:23:42] Anyways, here, let's just do this.

[00:23:44] So we can see so everyone at home can see the chat as well.

[00:23:50] Yep.

[00:23:51] Boom.

[00:23:51] See, there we go.

[00:23:55] Yeah.

[00:23:56] It's Jason saying it.

[00:23:58] Anyway, yeah.

[00:23:59] All right, best audio design, recognizing the best in game

[00:24:01] audio and sound design.

[00:24:03] We've got on the way to death space, high fire rush,

[00:24:05] Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4.

[00:24:08] For me, I'm going to have to kick it over to remedy.

[00:24:12] And Alan Wake, too.

[00:24:14] From the videos and stuff that I've seen,

[00:24:17] the way they've they did the sounds and the audios for for that.

[00:24:21] Or it's for me, it's between Alan Wake and Dead Space.

[00:24:25] But you won't go for that, Theo, because that's a remake.

[00:24:31] I mean, Resident Evil 4, that audio is fantastic.

[00:24:34] Well, also remake.

[00:24:36] Yeah, which I just say that I don't go for remakes to win.

[00:24:42] Yeah, game of the year games, which I do.

[00:24:45] Like I understand because they've already been done.

[00:24:49] They got retweaked and given like updated tech.

[00:24:54] I totally agree.

[00:24:55] If you had a chance.

[00:24:59] So but I would.

[00:25:03] Yeah, I agree with that one.

[00:25:04] Yeah, sure.

[00:25:06] I think remedy need remedy needs some love.

[00:25:08] Like they've always made some really good games.

[00:25:10] And this is going to be their year, too.

[00:25:13] It's like this is a loaded category.

[00:25:16] Best performance.

[00:25:18] Ben Star for Final Fantasy 16 as Clive.

[00:25:20] We've got Cameron Monahan for Star Wars, Jedi survivor,

[00:25:24] Ytras Elba, cyberpunk, Milani Labard, Alan Wake, too.

[00:25:29] Neil Neubahn for Baldur's Gate 3

[00:25:31] and Yuri Lowenthal as Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

[00:25:37] Oh, like.

[00:25:42] For me, it would be between Idris and Yuri.

[00:25:46] And for me, I'm going, I'm going Ben Star and Cameron Monahan.

[00:25:52] That's where I'm at.

[00:25:54] Jason.

[00:25:57] You know, Ben Star was like,

[00:26:01] he I know is I know it's a far faster game

[00:26:04] and I would be skewed that way.

[00:26:07] But, you know, like I just it just didn't

[00:26:12] resonate with me.

[00:26:13] I think it might be Yuri might be might be Yuri Idris.

[00:26:21] For me, I'm stuck between Idris and Cameron.

[00:26:24] You know, so then see and I love the sound of the Jedi.

[00:26:28] Yeah, yeah.

[00:26:29] I go Idris then. So I think it's just

[00:26:33] so we just vote.

[00:26:33] It's three out of four of us have all suggested.

[00:26:36] At the same time, it's just that boy, his voice is always so like

[00:26:40] doing its Idris.

[00:26:41] Yeah. For me, it was like that was a great DLC.

[00:26:44] But like for Yuri continued on and brought more to the character.

[00:26:50] So. And I'd say the same thing for Cameron, too.

[00:26:55] And survivor.

[00:26:57] So. But just I feel I feel like after finishing the game, you like.

[00:27:03] Yuri took it really took it farther.

[00:27:06] It feels like to me.

[00:27:09] Yuri folks.

[00:27:10] Yeah.

[00:27:11] OK, let's do it.

[00:27:12] I am I am.

[00:27:17] I mean, to your point, it was OK, innovation and accessibility.

[00:27:20] Recognizing software and hardware that is pushing the medium for by adding

[00:27:23] features, technology and content to help games be helped and enjoyed

[00:27:27] by an even wider audience.

[00:27:28] We've got Diablo four.

[00:27:29] Four is a mortar sport high rush or high.

[00:27:32] I only know of Spider-Man and Mortal Kombat.

[00:27:35] They fight or six in Mortal Kombat.

[00:27:37] They gave more options.

[00:27:38] I am going to actually go to bat to for Forza with this.

[00:27:42] OK.

[00:27:43] And the reason being is that they put in huge innovation for blind gamers

[00:27:47] or heart of sight gamers because for turns and everything, they made it so

[00:27:52] that there's a beeping system.

[00:27:54] So you know what type of turn it's going to be, how sharp it's going to be

[00:27:58] based on pitch and everything.

[00:28:00] Sweet. OK.

[00:28:01] So much in the Forza.

[00:28:02] I have to give it like for me, I have to give it a very cool.

[00:28:06] Yeah, I'm down.

[00:28:08] I know that you know, no idea about those.

[00:28:10] You know, I know Paul Amadeus Lane helped with some of the accessibility

[00:28:14] features for Spider-Man to love my boy.

[00:28:17] But the fact that they did for Forza, they did a lot to allow

[00:28:21] heart of sight gamers.

[00:28:24] The ability to play that game is huge to me.

[00:28:26] Yeah, I'm down.

[00:28:30] And I want to give a shout out to one content creator.

[00:28:35] I know that's you know, knows Danny Pani and all them is blind gamer Steve.

[00:28:38] He did an in depth review on that because he is legally blind.

[00:28:43] OK.

[00:28:44] Oh, wow.

[00:28:44] And he did a whole in depth thing on it.

[00:28:46] He talked about the whole thing, the process with it and what went into it

[00:28:49] and it was amazing.

[00:28:50] So all right, games for impact for a thought provoking game

[00:28:53] with a pro social meaning or message.

[00:28:56] You've got a space from bound chance of chance of sonar goodbye

[00:28:59] volcano high to Chia, Terra Nile.

[00:29:05] And then I have no idea.

[00:29:08] I'm in the same boat.

[00:29:09] I have not heard any of these before.

[00:29:13] Same.

[00:29:14] I think this one, if I remember to Chia is the one where she's out on

[00:29:19] the island and interacts with the animals.

[00:29:22] It's kind of like a Moana type.

[00:29:24] That's what I vaguely remember that trailer.

[00:29:27] The ones on the bottom.

[00:29:29] You've got Terra Nile and then but so I don't know any of these games.

[00:29:36] Yeah, I don't either.

[00:29:38] Just from a trailer perspective to Chia is the one that I would vote

[00:29:41] for just based on the trailer.

[00:29:44] Let's go for it.

[00:29:45] OK.

[00:29:46] Yeah.

[00:29:47] Yeah, I'm sorry about.

[00:29:49] Yeah, I mean, played any of those.

[00:29:52] Haven't heard anything of those.

[00:29:53] Best ongoing.

[00:29:55] Oh, you already know my answer.

[00:29:56] Apex Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, FF 14, Fortnite and Genshin Impact.

[00:30:01] There.

[00:30:02] You know, I.

[00:30:07] That evolves the player experience over time.

[00:30:11] Correct.

[00:30:11] And I for me, Apex Legends hasn't even when we're playing it,

[00:30:15] even when they added on stuff didn't really.

[00:30:19] Evolve it FF 14 keeps adding on more and more and more.

[00:30:24] Fortnite is kind of the same formula.

[00:30:28] I'm going to go FF 14.

[00:30:30] You know me.

[00:30:31] Yeah.

[00:30:33] That's easy one.

[00:30:35] The second one would have been Genshin Impact.

[00:30:37] But yes, I would agree with that.

[00:30:39] OK, best community to support Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077,

[00:30:44] Destiny 2, FF 14 and No Man's Sky.

[00:30:48] Do we talk about this one?

[00:30:49] Do we talk about this one?

[00:30:51] OK, we know that we know the support for the community and FF 14.

[00:30:54] No, no, no, no, no, I'm saying we go in depth for this one.

[00:30:58] I feel like we don't need to.

[00:31:01] We don't need to.

[00:31:02] I don't think it's necessary.

[00:31:04] All I was.

[00:31:05] As much as last year, as much as last year,

[00:31:08] I defended them like hold on to their to my death.

[00:31:11] I with how this year has been for the Destiny 2 community,

[00:31:17] I would not put them up for a vote here.

[00:31:21] Well, hold on though.

[00:31:22] I would.

[00:31:23] This is why I put the bungee team up just because they've

[00:31:26] had such a shitty, shitty year and they've been no.

[00:31:29] Their social team has been under fire.

[00:31:31] They're so.

[00:31:32] It's not just the social team.

[00:31:34] No, no, I did.

[00:31:37] Is now over at Iron or no, did you left bungee?

[00:31:42] That's right.

[00:31:42] And he went over to Alexi.

[00:31:43] So yeah, before all this stuff happened to you.

[00:31:47] Do you vote for the people that are not there?

[00:31:51] Or do you vote for the people that are not there?

[00:31:54] I don't know.

[00:31:55] They like they had from what I understood,

[00:31:57] there's a lot of people that just got laid off.

[00:32:00] Correct.

[00:32:01] Oh yeah.

[00:32:02] Here's why we had a conversation.

[00:32:07] Yes.

[00:32:08] My vote is either FF 14 or it's no man's sky.

[00:32:13] Because that team, it's a small team at Hello Games.

[00:32:18] You know, and they have been building that community since

[00:32:21] a very bad launch, right?

[00:32:23] They've built the game up.

[00:32:26] They've persevered everything.

[00:32:27] They've rebuilt it.

[00:32:29] You know, they basically.

[00:32:30] That's a good argument because.

[00:32:33] Yeah, so that's FF 14.

[00:32:35] Yeah, I didn't get that right.

[00:32:38] And that's why I'm saying my vote is going to be no man's

[00:32:40] sky or it's going to be final fantasy.

[00:32:41] I'll go for a fantasy.

[00:32:42] The only thing I was ever going to mention was that

[00:32:44] like boulders gave his girl,

[00:32:46] but they're not there.

[00:32:47] No way there.

[00:32:48] It's destiny.

[00:32:49] No, we will go.

[00:32:51] And Theo said we back them already.

[00:32:53] Yeah, yeah.

[00:32:54] We'll go 14.

[00:32:56] Honorable mention to Hello Games with no man's sky.

[00:32:59] They said the bar high and they've missed it.

[00:33:01] So that's the independent game.

[00:33:03] You've got to tune Dave the diver dredge,

[00:33:06] see if stars and viewfinder.

[00:33:08] Honestly, I would go.

[00:33:11] I forget what now.

[00:33:12] I would go dredge.

[00:33:14] I've actually played it.

[00:33:16] I've beaten it.

[00:33:21] But go ahead.

[00:33:22] So I would say is see if stars for me,

[00:33:24] I've played some of that and it is kind of the

[00:33:27] Chrono Trigger successor in a way.

[00:33:31] I've heard nothing but fantastic things about that.

[00:33:34] David diver.

[00:33:35] I've heard nothing but fantastic things about that.

[00:33:38] So for me.

[00:33:41] Because Jerry, you've played dredge.

[00:33:42] I've played see a stars to the point where I'm

[00:33:46] actually thinking about picking up CS stars on my

[00:33:47] Switch because I was playing on stars.

[00:33:52] Dredge, it was very much like a very calm,

[00:33:55] like, like you're really like fishing.

[00:33:57] Yep.

[00:33:58] So I'm just fishing.

[00:34:00] That's what yeah.

[00:34:01] Best debut indie game for the best debut created by

[00:34:05] a new independent studio.

[00:34:07] So you've got cocoon dredge pizza tower,

[00:34:10] Venba and viewfinder.

[00:34:12] For me, I would say dredger cocoon.

[00:34:15] I'm down for dredge.

[00:34:17] Let's give them some love.

[00:34:18] Dredged up.

[00:34:19] I don't know any of these.

[00:34:20] Yeah.

[00:34:21] Some of these on this.

[00:34:23] All right.

[00:34:24] Best mobile game.

[00:34:26] You've got Final Fantasy 7 ever crisis.

[00:34:28] Hello Kitty Island adventures.

[00:34:30] Bro.

[00:34:31] Honkai, monster hunter now and Terra nil.

[00:34:35] Honestly, I don't know anything about Terra nil.

[00:34:38] Honkai.

[00:34:38] Hello Kitty.

[00:34:38] I played none of these.

[00:34:40] I'm for me, I see nothing but great things about

[00:34:43] ever crisis and some of the Titans are doing to the

[00:34:45] Final Fantasy universe.

[00:34:47] I'm going to say go with ever crisis.

[00:34:50] It's of the five.

[00:34:52] Honestly, the best mobile game of the five is either

[00:34:54] going to be Honkai, Starvel or monster hunter.

[00:34:57] But okay, what have you have?

[00:34:59] Have you played either of those?

[00:35:00] Yeah, I've played honkai.

[00:35:01] I played monster.

[00:35:02] I will leave this to you.

[00:35:04] I played four of them.

[00:35:09] Okay.

[00:35:09] You know, I wish I didn't know about the

[00:35:11] Hello Kitty Island adventure.

[00:35:13] I'm all about that.

[00:35:14] But yeah, I mean, Honkai, Starvel, I think.

[00:35:23] Which is the best side of these five for you?

[00:35:25] Personally.

[00:35:25] It's the best but I think it might go with monster hunter.

[00:35:29] Monster hunter is just...

[00:35:31] Where do you want your vote to go?

[00:35:33] My vote will probably go with monster hunter.

[00:35:35] Monster hunter.

[00:35:36] Being we used to have mobile game Monday and he has a

[00:35:40] brand new mobile game Monday and ages.

[00:35:42] All right, best VR AR.

[00:35:44] We've got Grand Tresmo 7 Horizon Call of the Mountain

[00:35:46] Humanity, Resident Evil Village VR mode and Synapse.

[00:35:52] I've seen some gameplay for Resident Evil,

[00:35:56] Horizon and Grand Tresmo.

[00:35:59] I mean, Grand Tresmo, you're just seeing the cars

[00:36:01] and stuff around you.

[00:36:02] Resident Evil Village, we know that...

[00:36:05] Pretty sick.

[00:36:06] The original, you know, Biohazard gave people motion sickness

[00:36:11] and everything at E3.

[00:36:12] So we know it's pretty realistic.

[00:36:14] So where do we want to go?

[00:36:17] I'm down for Resident Evil.

[00:36:19] Yeah.

[00:36:22] I agree.

[00:36:23] Yeah, sure.

[00:36:23] This is what happens in a Democratic society.

[00:36:26] We just basically throw a dart at the board.

[00:36:28] All right, that's actually for the best game

[00:36:30] in the action genre focused primarily on combat.

[00:36:33] We've got Armor Core 6, Dead Island 2,

[00:36:35] Ghost Runner 2, High-Fy Rush and Remnant 2.

[00:36:39] I've heard fantastic things about Armor Core

[00:36:41] from a combat perspective.

[00:36:44] I haven't heard anything about Dead Island, Ghost Runner.

[00:36:46] Not Dead Island.

[00:36:47] Yeah, I mean...

[00:36:48] Not Dead Island, not Ghost Runner 2.

[00:36:51] I've heard good things about Remnant.

[00:36:52] I've heard high-fy.

[00:36:53] I've heard good things about high-fy.

[00:36:56] All right, let's toss it to Tango.

[00:37:01] Sorry, just Dead Island.

[00:37:03] All right, best action adventure game,

[00:37:05] Alan Wake 2, Spider-Man 2,

[00:37:07] Resident Evil 4, Jedi Survivor,

[00:37:09] or Two to the Kingdom.

[00:37:11] And the definition is for the best action adventure game

[00:37:14] combining combat with traversal and puzzle solving.

[00:37:18] Yeah.

[00:37:19] Jedi.

[00:37:22] I'm...

[00:37:23] For me, it's Jedi or Tears.

[00:37:25] Yeah, it might be Jedi.

[00:37:26] I wouldn't say Tears.

[00:37:28] I wouldn't say Tears.

[00:37:29] Jedi.

[00:37:29] I'll agree with Jedi.

[00:37:30] Yeah, between the two, yeah, definitely Jedi.

[00:37:33] Yeah.

[00:37:34] All righty, best RPG.

[00:37:36] You've got Baldur's Gate 3, Bono Fantasy 16,

[00:37:40] Liza P, Sea of Stars, and Starfield.

[00:37:43] I mean, Baldur's Gate 3 for me right now

[00:37:45] is essentially the definition of RPG.

[00:37:47] Yes, I'm gonna agree with that one.

[00:37:49] Yeah.

[00:37:50] Baldur's...

[00:37:51] It just edges it out.

[00:37:54] Baldur's RPG 3.

[00:37:57] All right.

[00:38:01] All right, we've got Best Fighting Game.

[00:38:02] You've got God of Rock, which I've never heard of.

[00:38:04] Mortal Kombat 1, Nintendo All-Star,

[00:38:06] or Nickelodeon rather, All-Star Brawl 2,

[00:38:09] Pocket Bravery or Street Fighter 6.

[00:38:11] For me, NK1 or Street Fighter 6.

[00:38:13] Mortal Kombat.

[00:38:15] NK1.

[00:38:16] NK1.

[00:38:16] Mortal Kombat.

[00:38:18] SF6, really?

[00:38:20] Really?

[00:38:20] Really guys?

[00:38:21] Seeing those finishes in every day is pretty sad.

[00:38:23] What is the mainstay and what is the main event of EVO?

[00:38:28] Street Fighter 6.

[00:38:30] Okay, I got it.

[00:38:32] True.

[00:38:33] SF6, like Street Fighter 6.

[00:38:35] Is EVO.

[00:38:38] Okay, I'll concede to that.

[00:38:43] Just saying, like, you know...

[00:38:45] NK1 was the highlight then, you know...

[00:38:47] NK1 was the highlight.

[00:38:49] All right, Best Family Game.

[00:38:50] Bro, really?

[00:38:52] Really?

[00:38:52] We're gonna discuss this.

[00:38:53] I guess this is my category.

[00:38:56] Yeah.

[00:38:58] Just the Illusion Island, Party Animals,

[00:39:00] Pikmin 4, Sonic Superstars and Super Mario Wonder.

[00:39:04] I mean, I played Wonder.

[00:39:05] But I have nothing other than the other games.

[00:39:08] For Best Family Game, I'm gonna give it to Pikmin.

[00:39:11] Oh, okay.

[00:39:12] I like Party Animals.

[00:39:15] I haven't played Party Animals.

[00:39:16] We're all Party Animals, bro.

[00:39:18] But for Mario Wonder, here's my knock on it being a family game.

[00:39:22] Is that all your lives are shared.

[00:39:24] Shared lives.

[00:39:25] And that's the biggest thing.

[00:39:26] New Year's Day?

[00:39:28] So instead of everybody having their own lives,

[00:39:30] if one of the kids dies, you all lose a life.

[00:39:35] So...

[00:39:36] And some of these levels are extremely hard.

[00:39:38] I don't let that mean stop dying to me.

[00:39:41] So...

[00:39:41] Dude, there's a level of already...

[00:39:43] You could be that person that teaches a valuable lesson

[00:39:46] that your team is only as good as your weakest link.

[00:39:49] Yeah, right.

[00:39:50] Or two weakest links.

[00:39:54] But for me, my vote would go with Pikmin 4 though.

[00:39:56] Okay, calm down.

[00:39:57] Yeah, I'm down.

[00:39:58] I'm always down to vote for Pikmin, bro.

[00:40:00] Mm-hmm.

[00:40:01] All right.

[00:40:03] Next category, best sim strategy game.

[00:40:05] Best game focused on real time or turn based simulation

[00:40:08] or strategic gameplay you've got...

[00:40:10] Concede to you.

[00:40:12] At Vance Wars 1 and 2, City Skylines 2,

[00:40:15] Company of Heroes 3, Fire Emblem, or Pikmin.

[00:40:18] I'm figuring probably Fire Emblem or Pikmin.

[00:40:21] I'm going Fire Emblem.

[00:40:22] I figured one of those two.

[00:40:26] I'm down.

[00:40:27] Fire Emblem.

[00:40:32] Yeah, just so good.

[00:40:35] Shout out to Joe Hernandez.

[00:40:37] One of the voices.

[00:40:39] Bergeron.

[00:40:39] How sweet.

[00:40:40] All right, best sports slash racing game you've got.

[00:40:43] EA Sports FC 24.

[00:40:46] Just do it for us.

[00:40:46] Yeah, just do it for us.

[00:40:47] Hey, I'm announcing...

[00:40:48] I have to tell the listeners at home what we're doing.

[00:40:51] Yeah, you remember our listeners.

[00:40:52] Yeah, I totally understand.

[00:40:54] I get it.

[00:40:55] Jeez, Jerry.

[00:40:56] EA Sports FC 24, a.k.a. FIFA.

[00:41:00] F123, Forza Motorsports.

[00:41:02] Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, TurboCharge and the Crew Motorfest.

[00:41:07] Let's think about this.

[00:41:08] Oh, Forza.

[00:41:09] It's a Forza.

[00:41:11] I think it's funny that Gran Turismo 7 is not nominated in that category.

[00:41:16] Yeah, that's right.

[00:41:16] Actually, that's a good point.

[00:41:18] Good point.

[00:41:19] Best multiplayer.

[00:41:21] Baldur's Gate 3, Diablo 4, Party Animal, Street Fighter 6,

[00:41:24] and Mario Wonder.

[00:41:26] Mario Wonder...

[00:41:27] I actually had no idea Baldur's Gate was multiplayer.

[00:41:31] I didn't either.

[00:41:33] I know Diablo 4 was.

[00:41:34] Yeah, you can...

[00:41:34] It's co-op.

[00:41:35] Same with Diablo, it's co-op.

[00:41:37] Oh, it's like co-op.

[00:41:38] I'm gonna say for me is...

[00:41:40] I'm gonna give it to BG3 just because Diablo 4

[00:41:43] I haven't heard much of anything.

[00:41:45] No, well, Diablo 4 is the same thing.

[00:41:47] Once you do a watch, you've done it a million times.

[00:41:51] Like...

[00:41:52] Have you played Diablo 3?

[00:41:55] Alright, Best in Play Diablo 4.

[00:41:56] Okay, here we go.

[00:41:57] Best adaptation.

[00:41:59] Recognizing outstanding creative work that faithfully

[00:42:01] and authentically adapts a video game to another

[00:42:03] entertainment medium.

[00:42:05] This is a category now?

[00:42:07] This is a category now.

[00:42:09] And we've got Castlevania Nocturne,

[00:42:11] Gran Turismo, The Last of Us,

[00:42:13] the Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers movie,

[00:42:15] and Twisted Metal.

[00:42:17] I know a ton of people watch Twisted Metal

[00:42:19] and they've said it felt like the game.

[00:42:23] I've heard...

[00:42:23] I've heard nothing but that too about Twisted Metal.

[00:42:27] I've only watched the first two episodes.

[00:42:29] What's that?

[00:42:29] It was decent, but for me...

[00:42:32] For me, Last of Us.

[00:42:33] For me, it's Last of Us.

[00:42:35] Second out of these.

[00:42:36] I mean, like...

[00:42:37] I know we're gonna pick Last of Us,

[00:42:39] but I know I just got to throw Castlevania

[00:42:41] into the Hat Man.

[00:42:43] Oh yeah, I haven't watched that yet.

[00:42:46] I still have to watch that.

[00:42:48] Oh, bro.

[00:42:51] Is it?

[00:42:52] I've been kind of skeptical because I like the first two.

[00:42:54] Like, honestly, I've only watched that in one day.

[00:42:56] I've watched it all night. It was that good.

[00:42:57] Nice.

[00:42:58] Okay, okay.

[00:42:59] Most anticipated game, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth,

[00:43:03] Hades II, Like a Dragon, Infinite Wealth,

[00:43:06] Star Wars Outlaws, Shoutout to Julian Garrity,

[00:43:10] part of the CGN fam, and Tekken VIII.

[00:43:15] From...

[00:43:15] I know Tekken,

[00:43:16] a lot of people are waiting for that, but...

[00:43:20] It's Final Fantasy or Star Wars?

[00:43:22] I think it's gonna be Outlaws

[00:43:23] or it's Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

[00:43:25] I think Hades II.

[00:43:27] Hades II is up there, but no, it's Rebirth.

[00:43:29] To win...

[00:43:31] To win, I think Rebirth is...

[00:43:34] What we like is different.

[00:43:36] Rebirth or Star Wars?

[00:43:38] All right, content creator of the year.

[00:43:41] Iron Mouse, people make games.

[00:43:44] Quoxity, Spring, Cyber,

[00:43:47] I have no idea who they are.

[00:43:50] I've only heard of Iron Mouse

[00:43:52] in terms of just somebody mentioning it,

[00:43:55] but I've never heard of any of these people.

[00:43:57] I say Iron Mouse just purely because

[00:44:00] the three pictures that are actually up

[00:44:04] all look like F-boys, and then

[00:44:05] I'm not gonna go with somebody that has

[00:44:08] letters for their profile picture.

[00:44:12] Hold on. We're CGN though.

[00:44:15] That's Esports game.

[00:44:16] We've got Counter Strike II, Dota 2, League of Legends,

[00:44:19] PubG Mobile and Valorant.

[00:44:25] I think my prediction is League or Valorant

[00:44:29] because I heard Valorant's got really popular.

[00:44:32] I'd say Valorant.

[00:44:33] Of all of our pub of Valorant, yeah.

[00:44:35] League of Legends, your community is very toxic.

[00:44:38] I love playing Esports.

[00:44:39] It's so toxic.

[00:44:41] All right, best Esports athlete.

[00:44:43] Faker.

[00:44:43] Oh, I'm sorry. Go ahead.

[00:44:46] Faker, Zywu, Demon One, Hydra,

[00:44:50] Ruler and Imperial Hal.

[00:44:53] You like Faker, dude?

[00:44:55] Faker is the god.

[00:44:58] He is literally the god amongst gods in League of Legends.

[00:45:02] Oh wow.

[00:45:03] All right, best Esports team.

[00:45:04] You've got Evil Geniuses, Fnatic,

[00:45:06] Game and Gladiators, JD Gaming and Team Vitality.

[00:45:11] I have no clue.

[00:45:12] EG.

[00:45:14] Which one?

[00:45:15] EG, Evil Geniuses.

[00:45:20] Got you.

[00:45:22] Cool, cool.

[00:45:23] All righty.

[00:45:26] Best Esports coach.

[00:45:28] Potter, Xonic, Gunba, QT or XTQs and Homie.

[00:45:34] Potter, bro.

[00:45:35] I want to go Potter.

[00:45:37] Yup.

[00:45:38] Okay.

[00:45:40] Might as well we went for Evil Geniuses on the team.

[00:45:44] Oh, it's because of Harry Potter, isn't it?

[00:45:47] All right.

[00:45:49] Best Esports.

[00:45:50] I admit it because of Harry Potter.

[00:45:52] I don't know.

[00:45:53] Jason, this is on you.

[00:45:56] League of Legends World Championship,

[00:45:58] Blast.tv Paris Major 2023, Evo 23,

[00:46:02] International Dota 2 Championships

[00:46:03] or Valorant Champions 2023.

[00:46:06] I just missed the Dota Championships.

[00:46:07] It was just like a couple weeks ago,

[00:46:09] but, you know, I...

[00:46:12] I mean, I always go to Evo,

[00:46:14] but I don't think that's my choice of this year.

[00:46:19] What is your choice?

[00:46:21] It might really go to the leagues,

[00:46:24] but, you know what, just pick Evo

[00:46:27] just because I was able to see one of the champions

[00:46:30] in World War II.

[00:46:31] You and Ninja.

[00:46:32] Me and Ninja.

[00:46:34] All right.

[00:46:35] Hanging out again next July.

[00:46:38] That, ladies and gentlemen, is our...

[00:46:41] Sweet.

[00:46:44] We have gone through all the 31 categories.

[00:46:48] Won't you guys save a game in the year again?

[00:46:50] Game of the Year.

[00:46:51] We went with BT3.

[00:46:53] Yeah, that's right.

[00:46:55] BT3?

[00:46:55] Yeah.

[00:46:56] And honestly, like, I love,

[00:46:59] you know, I love Nintendo games

[00:47:01] and stuff like that too,

[00:47:02] but I don't think for me...

[00:47:05] Wonder...

[00:47:06] Wonder as good as it's getting

[00:47:07] as I play it more,

[00:47:09] it's still not like,

[00:47:12] wow, that is my game of the year.

[00:47:14] Once again,

[00:47:15] well, like, it's just another Mario game.

[00:47:17] It's just themed differently

[00:47:19] and you know, they throw through

[00:47:21] some new bells and whistles

[00:47:23] and it's a lot of fun.

[00:47:25] Yeah, I would say the same thing.

[00:47:27] Tears.

[00:47:28] Yeah, go ahead, Derek.

[00:47:30] Oh, I was going to say, even then,

[00:47:31] like Final Fantasy XVI,

[00:47:32] I think would have been a better nominee

[00:47:35] than Wonder.

[00:47:36] Oh, instead of Wonder?

[00:47:37] And even instead of Wonder.

[00:47:39] Yeah.

[00:47:40] Honestly, I would say better

[00:47:42] like instead of Resident Evil.

[00:47:45] No, I have not played the RE4 remake.

[00:47:48] I have not.

[00:47:48] I love it.

[00:47:50] It's great, but I...

[00:47:52] Wait, really still Wonder?

[00:47:54] Yeah, I take Wonder out

[00:47:55] and put in 16 if...

[00:47:58] And even then, 16,

[00:48:00] like, out of all of them

[00:48:01] is probably my...

[00:48:02] would be kind of out of what I play,

[00:48:04] 16 would have been my game of the year.

[00:48:05] Yeah.

[00:48:07] Tears would have been a personal one as well, but...

[00:48:11] Wait, if we're going for straight winners,

[00:48:13] BG3 is...

[00:48:14] Yeah, I feel like BG3 is gonna...

[00:48:16] And I do want to delve into

[00:48:18] Alan Wake II at some point

[00:48:20] because I did very much enjoy

[00:48:22] Alan Wake I.

[00:48:23] I'm super curious about it

[00:48:25] because the gameplay is like,

[00:48:26] oh, sweet, like they really...

[00:48:29] They really put a lot into it

[00:48:32] and it looks way different

[00:48:33] from the first game.

[00:48:34] So yeah, I'm curious.

[00:48:36] Looks good.

[00:48:37] Yeah, so...

[00:48:38] And it's much of Tears.

[00:48:41] Tears is great.

[00:48:42] I just feel like it's a continuation

[00:48:44] from the first one and once again,

[00:48:47] they did throw a lot of different stuff

[00:48:49] and continue the strong story, but...

[00:48:51] I mean, I played the crap out of it,

[00:48:52] but I still haven't finished it.

[00:48:54] Yeah, I'm still going here and there

[00:48:56] back to it because I'm taking

[00:48:58] my time with it, but

[00:49:00] I can understand, like,

[00:49:01] yeah, Boulder's Gate.

[00:49:03] And then Spider-Man 2 is just

[00:49:04] a strong sequel for me.

[00:49:08] Yeah.

[00:49:10] But I think when you look at

[00:49:12] Game of the Year, overall,

[00:49:13] it's like what has it done for gaming too?

[00:49:15] Like BG3 has lit everything up on fire,

[00:49:18] brought back kind of that...

[00:49:20] Old school.

[00:49:20] Dungeon Crawler.

[00:49:22] Yeah.

[00:49:22] D&D type game, you know?

[00:49:25] So...

[00:49:26] And gave it a fresh twist.

[00:49:27] Like a lot of people are like...

[00:49:29] People are going to copy this

[00:49:32] formula from Boulder's Gate 3.

[00:49:35] So, that was the other thing

[00:49:37] I just kept hearing too.

[00:49:38] I mean, it's not that I don't

[00:49:39] agree with it and it's not

[00:49:40] anything brand-spanning new.

[00:49:43] It's just the freshness of it.

[00:49:46] Yeah, there's the more updated formula

[00:49:47] that people, I think,

[00:49:50] unanimously agree with.

[00:49:52] So now it's going to be a template

[00:49:54] for...

[00:49:55] Yeah, that would be good.

[00:49:57] To continue on.

[00:49:58] Like we're going to follow this template here

[00:49:59] and then they're going to create their game, yeah.

[00:50:03] But Boulder's Gate is the one that

[00:50:05] I think started it and

[00:50:07] should get the recognition.

[00:50:09] Why am I blanking on the game?

[00:50:11] Matt, what was the game with

[00:50:12] the robot?

[00:50:15] The cyborg?

[00:50:17] It was a cop.

[00:50:19] It was one of those storytelling...

[00:50:21] RoboCop?

[00:50:22] I'm sorry.

[00:50:23] Well, that game just came out too

[00:50:25] kind of recently.

[00:50:27] Matt played it.

[00:50:29] Why can't I remember?

[00:50:31] Because it was like one of those...

[00:50:34] I can't think of

[00:50:35] any of the games that's coming.

[00:50:37] Beyond was one of them.

[00:50:40] Oh, Detroit.

[00:50:42] Detroit, thank you.

[00:50:43] So try it.

[00:50:45] How would you feel

[00:50:47] if Detroit had

[00:50:51] mechanics like

[00:50:51] Boulder's Gate?

[00:50:53] Where you still had your decisions

[00:50:56] in making, but you

[00:50:57] couldn't necessarily always guarantee

[00:50:59] that decision was going to be

[00:51:02] successful.

[00:51:03] Detroit, you can't guarantee it, right?

[00:51:05] Because if you don't find everything

[00:51:07] in the environment

[00:51:08] to help you make your decisions,

[00:51:10] your percentage goes way the fuck down.

[00:51:15] So...

[00:51:15] Detroit...

[00:51:17] Yeah, Detroit would be

[00:51:19] is kind of like

[00:51:21] not Beyond Two Souls, but Heavy Rain.

[00:51:24] In terms of your decision making.

[00:51:25] More like L.A. and A.N.

[00:51:26] L.A. and A.R. would be another one.

[00:51:28] I would combine it with.

[00:51:31] So...

[00:51:31] You know, for...

[00:51:35] My point was kind of being like

[00:51:38] would you see

[00:51:39] in

[00:51:41] Agreements with Jerry, like would you see more

[00:51:43] of those types of games following

[00:51:44] Boulder Gate's lead?

[00:51:48] I think

[00:51:48] here's my thing is

[00:51:50] you had all the Battle Royales

[00:51:53] once Fortnite came out, right?

[00:51:54] And you saw

[00:51:56] Call of Duty kind of go that route.

[00:52:00] You have...

[00:52:01] The funny thing is that

[00:52:02] Fortnite wasn't the first Border Royale though.

[00:52:05] It was the first one to really truly

[00:52:08] PUBG was

[00:52:10] Well, PUBG, yes,

[00:52:11] but Fortnite blew it up.

[00:52:13] Let's put it that way.

[00:52:13] So, Fortnite found that

[00:52:16] Fortnite really

[00:52:18] made it not only in eSports,

[00:52:20] but paved the way for that.

[00:52:22] Yeah.

[00:52:23] And poverty and stuff, but PUBG was

[00:52:26] and Counter Strike.

[00:52:27] Yeah, and then you had though...

[00:52:29] But what I'm saying is that then you had those emulators, right?

[00:52:31] You know, you had Call of Duty going that route

[00:52:34] and you had all those different ones going around.

[00:52:35] So I think you are going to see

[00:52:40] some publishers going well,

[00:52:41] Baldur's Gate could do it. Why can't we?

[00:52:44] Right?

[00:52:44] When we know there's been a lot of those dungeon crawler type

[00:52:47] games that have come out,

[00:52:50] you know, Diablo, Baldur's Gate,

[00:52:55] Torchlight...

[00:52:55] I think the biggest thing Theo would do

[00:52:58] and what you're going to see

[00:53:00] is these companies

[00:53:02] making those decisions.

[00:53:03] I think we're going to see them

[00:53:05] either going that route

[00:53:06] or continuing on like the Telltale

[00:53:10] or like the Detroit kind of games

[00:53:12] because there's still a need for them.

[00:53:14] There's still a market...

[00:53:15] I don't want to see that though.

[00:53:17] Because here's the thing, right?

[00:53:19] Here's why I don't want to...

[00:53:21] I think that adds a level of excitement.

[00:53:22] Well, here's my problem with it though is

[00:53:24] you look at... let's take PlayStation

[00:53:26] for example as we're closing out the show, right?

[00:53:28] Is that because

[00:53:30] you had these games as a service, right?

[00:53:34] They dump so much money into

[00:53:35] acquiring Bungie.

[00:53:38] They put all these lofty

[00:53:39] expectations on the Bungie

[00:53:41] and then Bungie had a 45%

[00:53:43] decrease in their

[00:53:46] targets, right?

[00:53:47] And they had to lay off a whole bunch of people, right?

[00:53:50] You look at

[00:53:51] The Last of Us with factions

[00:53:54] that now is pretty much on ice

[00:53:55] as far as anybody knows.

[00:53:57] Like we don't know what's going on with that.

[00:53:59] It should have been out already.

[00:54:03] No, I dog, we love you.

[00:54:04] But, you know, factions have already been out.

[00:54:07] And that's like games as a service.

[00:54:08] And they were trying to basically jump on that

[00:54:10] games as a service train

[00:54:12] and it's failed, right?

[00:54:15] You look at all those that jumped

[00:54:16] on the Fortnite train to train.

[00:54:18] Like you had Call of Duty, right?

[00:54:20] Black Ops.

[00:54:21] Black Ops 3, we love completely.

[00:54:26] They decided to go with

[00:54:27] Black Ops 4 as a

[00:54:28] Battle Royale style type

[00:54:31] game.

[00:54:32] Rainbow Six.

[00:54:33] As though, yes, it's

[00:54:35] successful with Siege in its own way,

[00:54:37] it still is not as popular

[00:54:39] and as good as

[00:54:41] the main campaign with Rainbow Six games.

[00:54:44] Let's be honest.

[00:54:46] So

[00:54:47] all these companies trying to emulate each other

[00:54:50] because the other one just happened

[00:54:51] to hit gold on a game, right?

[00:54:56] You know, I don't think it

[00:54:57] does any company good

[00:54:59] any good to basically throw their eggs

[00:55:01] in a different basket that they're not necessarily

[00:55:03] used to. Granted, you have

[00:55:05] the outliers like Guerrilla who went from making

[00:55:07] Killzone, a first person shooter series

[00:55:09] to making Horizon,

[00:55:11] right? That was a successful

[00:55:13] move but some of these studios

[00:55:15] you make that jump to a different type of game

[00:55:17] and all of a sudden, you're out

[00:55:19] of your depth, you don't know what

[00:55:21] you're doing and you bomb

[00:55:24] and that could mean

[00:55:25] the closure of your studio.

[00:55:26] I think studios and publishers

[00:55:29] just need to keep to what makes

[00:55:31] them strong.

[00:55:33] PlayStation and

[00:55:34] to go back to Jason and Jerry's

[00:55:36] video game analogies

[00:55:39] PlayStation. That's how I sold systems, bro.

[00:55:41] And this is where I'm giving you guys

[00:55:43] your props for this analogy

[00:55:44] but PlayStation needs to stick

[00:55:46] to story driven games. Don't go

[00:55:48] diving into this games as a service stuff

[00:55:50] for all your different games and stuff.

[00:55:52] Xbox needs to just stick to the shooters.

[00:55:55] Xbox is trying to catch up

[00:55:57] to PlayStation, these story driven

[00:55:59] games and they're failing

[00:56:02] badly. Which I totally agree.

[00:56:04] I just like I'm just trying

[00:56:06] to read the terrain where I feel

[00:56:08] some of those companies are going

[00:56:11] to question their direction

[00:56:12] and that's going to happen.

[00:56:14] Oh we know that's going to happen

[00:56:16] because that's the way the games

[00:56:18] industry is and then when they fail

[00:56:19] they're laying off a whole ton of people.

[00:56:21] This year has been a very bad year

[00:56:23] for playoffs. It's been rough. Yeah.

[00:56:25] It's because companies and

[00:56:26] publishers and studios

[00:56:29] have not hit their targets

[00:56:31] because they set all these lofty expectations

[00:56:33] because oh

[00:56:36] coming out with

[00:56:37] let's say coming out with a game like Final Fantasy 14

[00:56:39] and Genshin, right? You're going to try and come out with

[00:56:41] a similar game and all of a sudden guess what? You're going up against

[00:56:43] two Titans. You

[00:56:45] overshot your mark because you thought

[00:56:47] those were the game, you know

[00:56:49] the cream of the crop and

[00:56:51] you're making an emulated game like them and then

[00:56:53] it doesn't resonate and then

[00:56:55] you're losing your studio.

[00:56:57] You know

[00:56:59] in case some point though you look at

[00:57:00] I hate to say this with Bungie though. I mean you had so much

[00:57:02] lofty expectations that

[00:57:05] Lightfall was going to do amazing things

[00:57:07] and it bombed

[00:57:08] people. And now you're looking

[00:57:11] at layoffs at the studio

[00:57:13] especially after they just spent

[00:57:15] 1.2 billion dollars

[00:57:17] to acquire a new facility

[00:57:19] and

[00:57:20] staff it out and everything

[00:57:22] and outfit it, right?

[00:57:25] Think about how much money that could have

[00:57:26] if you just stayed in your old space, right?

[00:57:29] You wouldn't have had to lay off people.

[00:57:30] They did it based on what they thought

[00:57:33] Lightfall would do.

[00:57:35] So I think ultimately though

[00:57:37] as much as Jerry you are

[00:57:38] right and I will absolutely agree

[00:57:41] with you there going to studios are going to emulate

[00:57:43] the fuck out of Baldur's Gate

[00:57:44] and DL04

[00:57:46] and I think

[00:57:47] not DL04 but Baldur's Gate

[00:57:49] More Baldur's Gate 3

[00:57:50] but DL04 is kind of in that same vein, right?

[00:57:53] The still

[00:57:54] not as much as Baldur's Gate

[00:57:56] That form is kind of

[00:57:58] it's kind of on its way out

[00:58:01] which kind of also shows

[00:58:04] Baldur's Gate look how long it's been

[00:58:05] since 2 came out

[00:58:07] and Baldur's Gate 3

[00:58:09] has come back with a vengeance and everybody's loving it right now

[00:58:11] I just hope

[00:58:14] the studios and the

[00:58:15] the game platforms and stuff just look at that

[00:58:17] and go okay cool they made a great game

[00:58:20] it's hit its mark

[00:58:21] it did some great things

[00:58:23] but we're still going to stay in our lane

[00:58:26] We'll see, yeah

[00:58:28] Except Nintendo give us something else other than Breath of the Wildtres the Kingdom

[00:58:33] Do they really need to though?

[00:58:34] Do they need to though?

[00:58:35] I don't think they need to

[00:58:36] Yes they do. It's called Wind Waker

[00:58:39] and Twilight Princess

[00:58:40] Just saying

[00:58:42] Remix

[00:58:43] I'm fine

[00:58:44] I think you would look at what they did with Metroid though

[00:58:47] right? They kept going with one set of stories

[00:58:50] in an aside scroller

[00:58:52] they still have Metroid Prime Remastered

[00:58:54] which is a first person version of it

[00:58:56] and their bolt did extremely well

[00:58:59] You know, I think

[00:59:00] And a sequel on the way with

[00:59:02] 4

[00:59:03] I mean, I guess we'll really see

[00:59:07] them kind of

[00:59:09] reach

[00:59:11] with Mario RPG coming out

[00:59:14] We'll see how that goes

[00:59:15] Possibly

[00:59:16] Yeah, that's true. We'll see how

[00:59:18] successful that is too

[00:59:20] and critically

[00:59:22] It's going to have a niche for it

[00:59:23] That was one of the ones I passed on

[00:59:27] even for Super Nintendo

[00:59:29] You and I were talking about Jerry

[00:59:31] and I don't know if I'm going to pick up Mario RPG

[00:59:32] I really don't

[00:59:33] For me I'd rather

[00:59:36] dive in to see a Star's

[00:59:37] you know, fully on my

[00:59:39] You know

[00:59:42] I'm still playing Wonder

[00:59:42] I've got Wonder, I've got

[00:59:46] Animal Crat

[00:59:47] I feel like with the turn base and everything

[00:59:49] with RPG, I think it's

[00:59:51] not going to be that great

[00:59:53] I am also not too excited about RPG

[00:59:55] because of playing

[00:59:58] Inverse this time

[00:59:59] I'm the one that's actually excited for RPG

[01:00:02] Because I played

[01:00:03] Paper Mario recently

[01:00:05] a lot and it just got

[01:00:08] too repetitive

[01:00:10] I know

[01:00:10] But I still mean like it's that turn base

[01:00:14] everything

[01:00:16] Octopath Traveler and whatnot

[01:00:18] and the old school fun

[01:00:19] NSEs and Chrono Trigger and all of that

[01:00:21] Sea of Stars

[01:00:22] I don't know, I think I missed

[01:00:26] the window for that Jason

[01:00:27] because I never played it

[01:00:28] So tell me, sell me on Mario

[01:00:31] RPG really quick before we like one

[01:00:33] Fall in it

[01:00:34] Think of it as a family friendly

[01:00:38] Final Fantasy

[01:00:39] Virtually it is

[01:00:41] And I

[01:00:42] It was in my childhood growing up

[01:00:45] My friend had it and we always played

[01:00:47] nonstop throughout the night

[01:00:49] But the biggest thing is that

[01:00:51] You don't have to

[01:00:53] think too hard on the story

[01:00:54] The story is not like this

[01:00:57] 17-20 hour

[01:00:59] explanation of what's happening

[01:01:01] It's literally

[01:01:02] This thing happens so we need to fix it

[01:01:05] That's it

[01:01:06] It's like as baseline

[01:01:09] of an RPG story that you can get

[01:01:11] And that's

[01:01:13] I think what

[01:01:15] Nintendo does well

[01:01:17] with its game is that they don't over

[01:01:19] complicated. You're basically going

[01:01:21] on to the mechanics

[01:01:23] and the base story where the story is

[01:01:25] just literally A to B

[01:01:28] And there's not like this whole

[01:01:30] like oh we have to side quest

[01:01:31] all day

[01:01:33] every day

[01:01:36] It's not like Marvel

[01:01:37] where you have to know

[01:01:39] everything that's going on

[01:01:40] You're gonna say that

[01:01:41] straight through

[01:01:45] I think it is

[01:01:47] in your guys' realm

[01:01:49] It could be

[01:01:51] too basic for a lot of people

[01:01:53] that are thinking like oh it's just gonna be

[01:01:55] like this

[01:01:58] something's happening or it's gonna

[01:01:59] end. That's it we gotta save it

[01:02:01] and it's all on my own game

[01:02:03] Is it gonna be worth the

[01:02:05] Do you think it's worth 60?

[01:02:07] I think it's worth 60. I'm

[01:02:08] I think it's a day one pickup

[01:02:12] Is it day one pickup

[01:02:13] or still worth 60?

[01:02:16] Day one pickup

[01:02:16] If you're really into it

[01:02:19] I can wait it out a little bit maybe

[01:02:21] about a month or so

[01:02:22] There's no formal on that but it is

[01:02:25] definitely worth

[01:02:26] to pick up where it's just like oh you know what

[01:02:29] this is it

[01:02:30] This is a solid game

[01:02:32] It's a solid game

[01:02:33] Even the old school is that solid

[01:02:35] where it still holds today

[01:02:40] It's still in the fence with it

[01:02:42] It just never appealed

[01:02:44] to me but cool

[01:02:46] Alright

[01:02:47] Well with that ladies and gentlemen I want to thank you for crashing

[01:02:50] game night with us tonight

[01:02:51] for voting on the

[01:02:53] game awards nominees

[01:02:55] You know if you

[01:02:57] enjoyed tonight's show

[01:02:59] make sure to drop us a follow head on over to

[01:03:01] crashinggamenight.com and

[01:03:03] follow us on the platform of

[01:03:05] your choice

[01:03:06] I know things are getting

[01:03:09] still heated out there

[01:03:10] especially what's going on over in

[01:03:12] Israel and Palestine so just

[01:03:14] please folks just

[01:03:17] be excellent to each other

[01:03:20] That's right all you nerds just

[01:03:22] yeah prayers out there

[01:03:24] to Palestine and Israel just that they

[01:03:26] come to an agreement or

[01:03:28] ceasefire or something

[01:03:30] and also let's

[01:03:32] just continue on

[01:03:33] on that note to spread the same

[01:03:36] message let's just try and

[01:03:37] spread a little bit more

[01:03:40] kindness, some

[01:03:41] tolerance, some patience

[01:03:44] and let's just try and be

[01:03:45] safe out there and lend a helping hand

[01:03:48] and just be

[01:03:49] overall let's just try and do better

[01:03:51] and be better

[01:03:52] thank you guys and thank you all you

[01:03:55] nerds and just be yourselves

[01:03:57] and do you boo

[01:04:00] You do you boo you do you

[01:04:01] do you do you

[01:04:05] Again I have to say

[01:04:06] every time that you do say that

[01:04:07] it makes me cringe

[01:04:10] a little bit because it makes me think of honey boo boo

[01:04:13] Oh

[01:04:16] You know again

[01:04:17] just be safe out there
