So we're gonna go see it on Wednesday. I missed it the first time it came out. Only got it on DVD. And then subsequently Blu-ray and digital. So I am looking forward to just that whole scene where Sephiroth reveals himself and he for Borderlands. Oh, yeah. Drop today. The whole trailer as we record tonight will be dropping on Wednesday. Wednesday the 21st. Yep. So just to kind of it looks it looks good.

Like come next month and then the flights are going to be awful to book.

And then after that, I was going to save up for Comic Con

[00:16:28] For Fan Expo. On Thursday, they did a special episode of the Xbox podcast, in which Sarabon and Phil Spencer went on and kind of gave some of their business plans. It was the most committal, non-committal thing I've heard. So first they announced they have 35 million subscribers to Game Pass right now.

[00:17:43] Yeah, so now here's the thing though,
[00:17:45] that's kind of a misnomer Online, right, is you may have 30 million subscribers, but if they're not actively using it, like they're going two, three months without even using it, it's just there and auto renewing or whatever. It's also if they're launching the app, if they're going based off of accounts, you could be logging into your Xbox and watching Netflix and being active.

[00:19:02] So it's really depending on how good their data analysts are.
[00:19:06] Yeah. So he just was just going to put it out there. Now the funny thing with that is after we have this, Nintendo announced that they're doing a partner direct tomorrow. And it's a I think it's a pre recorded one, because it's going to be available early in
[00:20:21] the morning.
[00:20:23] So who trailer and all of that. Interesting. So tomorrow is going to be an interesting day as far as news and events occurring are are concerned. So when you also when you look at Nintendo, they did. It was also announced there's going to be a Pokemon direct next week. There's rumors of that we're going to get a let's let's go variant
[00:21:43] for what the black and white games were,
[00:21:46] or that it's a remake of the black and white games.
[00:22:50] Evie. You know, remakes, essentially you've got girls come out. So yeah, but they also know what you know now about Let's Go Evie and Pikachu. Are you down to get these? No.
[00:22:56] Okay. Because here's the thing is with like, you'll wait on them to like maybe find it used.

[00:25:42] I'm kind of expecting it to be good. Like we had Odyssey and, you know, link or in Breath of the Wild at launch for the switch. Right. But here's the thing is not bad. But but if you're going to drag it out that long, you better
[00:27:02] have some stuff in the pipe for this year.

[00:27:06] Surprise some people like Metroid two and three, you know, You guys always forget that Nintendo is the family console. Like, it is without a doubt. Do you have somebody that's under 18? You're getting a Switch. He does have probably, I can't say for sure, but probably has the most, or the largest library of replayable games. Yeah. I mean like, how often do games go on sale?
[00:28:24] That's what my argument is.
[00:28:27] Like, I'm bowling, you know, like came with every, that thing got blown up like no tomorrow, like everybody was playing it. So this day people still play it. So, but here's my thing.
[00:29:40] It doesn't matter, it's like, you instantly,
[00:29:44] as long as you have one game, one game at launch,
[00:29:47] that holds over to whatever game. Not worth 50. Now granted, the kids enjoy it, anybody under 18 living in the house. But Jason are you kind of taking it from the perspective from a gamer or from a corporation like Nintendo? Yeah. If you take it from the perspective of corporation no matter what it's gonna be bad because their sales are gonna be shit and then they're gonna push back push back the release even more because I can't afford to release it.. I mean, like we've had new releases, sure, like, but we've had releases of what we've always said is the same franchise as all the time. Mario Wonder is new and it got played and it gets only played a little bit at a time or you get through it so fast, you're already done.

[00:33:45] the Switch is about to lose my attention here in a week.
[00:34:45] CEO of the PlayStation division has said that you know, the PlayStation 5 is moving into the latter stages of its lifecycle, which is to be fair.
[00:34:48] I mean, PlayStation is run about a seven year lifecycle.
[00:34:50] It's been out for four years.
[00:34:54] This will be year four because it came out 2020.
[00:34:57] So technically, it is moving into the latter part of its lifecycle.
[00:35:03] They're running razor thin operating margins right now, right And I think you got to look at what Shawn Leighton has said that you know
[00:36:21] That they have triple-a games are not look at a day of launch PC and and PlayStation
[00:37:43] for their new first party titles. Like you said, a lot of games, a lot of games came out that that came with a lot of merit and that were very interesting. And that piqued a lot of interest, I think, through all of us. And it was yeah, I would say it was a good year for gaming. There were a lot of good games that I think we all tried out and enjoy. Yeah, I will just give you a little refresher as to why we do this.
[00:39:06] Yeah. but Death Stranding and, you know, because she meant no new games coming this fiscal year. So nothing between this, you know, now and the end of March of 2025. Now that's to say they're not gonna have new IP because we do know Sony Santa Monica and Naughty Dog are working on new IP.
[00:40:20] So those theoretically could still come out
[00:40:22] this fiscal year.
[00:40:23] Oh my God, you're the extra place jacket next year.

[00:40:26] Jerry, that's where you're going to lose some sales because we do know that PlayStation first party titles

[00:41:45] around when you have the bigger, the bigger temple titles being released. or something and then like a hundred stacks for Call of Duty servers and then cut to oh that one hell divers choose is a potato with two chip boards in it. Yes. Um, I did see that one and I think you know what's funny is dude, I have seen so many videos getting
[00:43:01] made of them basically pleading for this game to come to Xbox. Um timed it is like everybody was ready for a change. And, but how do you predict that though? Especially like you said, the first game, dude, I barely remember it. I didn't even know there was a hell divers one. I remember there was a hell divers one, but I, I can't even tell you like what it was about and or when it even came out.
[00:44:21] And then I heard, I keep hearing about hell divers too.
[00:44:25] And it's a freaking awesome.
[00:45:23] Like they're showing like the Spartans gearing up for war and saying it's so funny. I really do enjoy the aliens our entire lives.

[00:45:27] And, you know, they're doing the Halo music and having the Spartans on Pelican drop ships.
[00:45:33] And it's like it's great.
[00:45:36] And I do hope this is one of those games that they do bring to Xbox.
[00:45:41] Because I know like some of the PlayStation players and the PC players, they're
[00:45:46] begging for reinforcements because they've actually been losing ground. co-op? I would say or is it like an online MMO? No, I would say it's almost forced co-op. Like I went on my own. Wasn't like it was very difficult. So I went into the public and just got, you know, played with randoms for a little bit, but it's better when you have your group and you can have like a four man,
[00:47:01] five man group. And it's dude,
[00:47:02] if you see at that at that round, I'll just go back to the division.
[00:47:05] Cause I can do it solo. I don't need it is I'm going to finish this one. I'm playing something else. It's too good. How there is too good. Again, Jerry. Shut up. is that? I don't even know what that is, bro. Like, bro, Jason, this is why you this is why you have me in the group.
