[00:07:26] I've heard bad things about it I thought it was good I thought it was fun Um it's definitely more geared towards Introducing a younger audience to Star Wars And bringing them into it It did have a little bit of a Goonies vibe to it Um I enjoyed it more than the Acolyte Okay Um you know I think the Onyx Cinder was an Was a nice centerpiece ship Had some cool abilities Um I I did think
[00:07:53] But they and they also made the ship make sense In the entire story like Correct They incorporated it like it makes sense All the way till the very end like episode Like I I really enjoyed that too But I uh sorry Matt sorry go ahead Oh no go ahead you're fine Um I I agree with the like Goonie Kind of Stranger Things vibe of the The kid show Um if you go into it like that Just having fun It's a good show
[00:08:23] Um you know it's it's not the uh strongest Of the ones that have come out you know I think We I think with Star Wars we constantly have this Um innate need for like I think either Endor like espionage Or like Jedi or or like uh Clone Wars type deal Um this was I think a different A good attempt at just something different And it was just like Matt said it was fun I enjoyed every episode
[00:08:53] Uh but I I just I knew I was watching something That I think was more targeted for children But it was still fun to watch and it was still interesting Jude Law Really played his character I like he he was definitely the standout character I guess for me Um it was it still has that amount of mystery And like you still kind of root for the guy So like I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up in other projects
[00:09:22] Like here and there because he's a pirate So uh it was it was interesting Like there were interesting elements to it To where I would be remiss if if I didn't want to see them again Or maybe in other projects I'd watch I wouldn't necessarily I wouldn't necessarily okay that's where I would go I wouldn't necessarily say a season two Maybe associated with a different Cameos of the characters in other seasons
[00:09:49] Or the entire cast associated with a different show I wouldn't I don't I wouldn't go a season two What are they gonna do steal another ship and get off the planet Like I would I would say like they would need to be incorporated in another show Where they do I Or then just cameos or like It's revolved around That like World or area
[00:10:17] But I wouldn't necessarily say a season two I think a season two can be done Just be the fact is that all of a sudden The shields gone So now you have this old Republic world That is now exposed to the entire universe True I mean they do leave it open ended But it's just Yeah I mean are they gonna get attacked again Or I don't know Like I kind of like the idea of Them being like in another show
[00:10:47] Other than like Yeah just the kids finding another way to Save their home No I don't think it necessarily save their home But I think it's about maybe just leaving But I think for me though I think the last episode should have been Like but that's what I mean It I I think they need to evolve further away from the children And like maybe More around the world or something like that I don't know but I would like like I said That's just me I wouldn't go with a season two
[00:11:16] I so I think for me though my one gripe And we talked about this off air is I think that last episode should have been about Should have been either a two-parter or A hour episode because It crammed 30 minutes Yeah You know a lot into 30 minutes And it felt like the pacing was rushed Because all of a sudden it's like Hey we need to get a single A signal out to the The Republic The New Republic And then five minutes later all of a sudden you've got
[00:11:46] X-Wings A blockade runner B-Wings showing up And then within five minutes they've laid waste to the pirates And then that's it Yeah I would have liked I think a better opportunity for a two-parter Because I think they could have also thrown in More information of Jude Law's character's background Because he has force wielding powers And you don't really And he was
[00:12:14] But without research because I watch the behind the scenes stuff He's a survivor of Order 66 He was supposed to be a Padawan That had promise and learned a few things But that was it His master ended up having to leave him or something And then ended up getting killed And then he was left a fan for himself Hence how he became a pirate But You don't learn that in the show
[00:12:45] Like you had to watch it behind the scenes Like other stuff To where like I would have been Even more invested in that character If I saw that in the show Okay I feel So yeah, so it'll be I would have been better than cliffhanger then Yeah Definitely just cliffhangers a little bit They did a cliffhanger for his character Because you don't know Did he survive or not But
[00:13:12] Yeah, I mean that's not as strong of a cliffhanger though Like, you know, like Like cliffhanger would be just like Seeing all those ships just show up and like Oh, dang something's going down Yeah But you know, it was It was cool seeing a couple of B-wings And the X-wings and whatnot But they just, it was just too easy Like if you guys do end up seeing it That you'll see because it's a lot of quick cuts Oh, okay Like, ooh, X-wings And then boom, they're like, oh, they're here
[00:13:41] Oh, then they're flying around Like a lot of quick It was, yeah It just felt like a missed opportunity to have like a two-parter I would have done a two-parter as well Yeah Yeah So Other than that Let's talk some PlayStation Because PlayStation Axed three games in the last week
[00:14:07] That were all live service games So you had Bluepoint Who actually supported Sony Santa Monica on God of War Ragnarok They were making a live service God of War game You had Ben Who did Days Gone And Siphon Filter They were working on a live service game
[00:14:36] Nobody knows what it was about or anything like that That one was canceled Sony said they're trying to Figure out what to do with those studios next Which I don't know if that bodes well For For Bend Because Days Gone They had to do a lot of work To get that even back to Up and running to a game That was actually running correctly True Without a lot of the issues And it became a good game After a lot of work But
[00:15:05] The only reason why I would argue Is because It has a huge following now Where Where I think at least If they If they aren't actually If they aren't questioning it Or At least Bringing it up again To a degree of a sequel Like hey Like focus groups Or do At least a discussion That would be I think that would be a bad Yeah Like bad on them
[00:15:35] And then also It was revealed That NCSoft was making a Horizon MMO That was gonna be mobile PC and PS5 That was canceled Now Guerrilla is still working on a A live service game at the moment For Horizon I think that When you look at the games Right I think Horizon Is probably the most equipped one To be like an MMO Or a live service game Because You really don't need Aloy You could be anybody in that world
[00:16:04] You know Hunting The machines And what not So But The fact of the matter is You can see Jim Ryan's Effect And how damaging it was By him going Hey let's go Live service I hate I hate that idea First Of the Horizon I don't know about you But I hate that idea I'm not a fan of it But at the same time Is I think Out of You know

[00:23:51] In that you just basically do a director's cut upgrade and that's it Okay Because honestly The haptics it was cool hearing the sound come out of the controller I guess The vibration didn't do anything You know The haptics did not do a darn thing for me in that game Graphically yes it's gorgeous But that being said I think it should have just been just an upgrade
[00:24:21] Instead of doing a full price game You know To your point like They did a Last of Us part one and two treatment for it You know And I think Those games came out within a decade You know Like it's not even like Yeah and That's not an epic of a deal And my bigger problem with it is also is Not only did they do it as a full remake They basically made you play through the game again to get all your trophies Like none of the trophies Yeah So if you did it try to do a new game They did not carry over And go into it again
[00:24:50] Nothing carried over So you literally had to start the game back over Now granted Did I do the 65 hour run through it? Yes Yes I did But It was one of those Begrudgingly though It was begrudgingly Right? Because I wanted the trophies for it And that's And I think After playing that I also went Jumped into Horizon 2 Which I don't That doesn't even need a treatment as well And honestly I'm having
[00:25:18] I'm having a major problem with Horizon 2 That I'm probably not going to go back to it Unless I decide to restart the game all over from scratch Because the mechanics A lot of it are completely different In terms of like With Horizon 1 You know you could still knock three arrows at the same time And launch them right In the sequel You've got to have stamina You have all this stuff like That they added on to it That it wasn't necessary You know granted There's some better quality of life stuff But like
[00:25:48] I'm not enjoying it Like I'm going to have to literally Restart the game from scratch To redo all the mechanics But quality of life doesn't really mean that it's A different game And that's what it is No So And also you might want to check the Settings or accessibility Accessibility settings It has nothing You can't take off the stamina? No, you can't It's built in Your character has to have stamina To use some of those special abilities I remember that But like even the choice Like I thought You cannot

Handheld is the thing in Japan and when you look at some of the success that PlayStation did have with the Portal and the rumors of a Vita 2 or something along those lines coming out is you can see that we're seeing a shift to mobile, to the gaming on the go like we see similar to Japan. so
[00:35:27] why not? Absolutely. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Exactly. And I enjoyed the design. I really like it. I'm not going to get it at launch because I am going to try and resist until a collector's edition or something comes out to where you know okay yeah that's the I'll be your Huckleberry. That one I'm going to buy. You know what I mean? I am going to try and resist.
[00:35:57] I'll have I'll get it at launch. I hope I hope they make a special edition that's Red Dead 2 just for you Jerry. Oh It's going to require like a really major title for me to get a Switch 2. I play enough of my Switch that for me I will absolutely upgrade. I I'll see if there is a Switch 2 exclusive Zelda I will I will upgrade if there's that.
[00:36:27] I want to play Metroid Prime in the shiniest way possible. So if that means Switch 2 then so be it. Here's my money Nintendo. It does look good and I do love the new Joy-Cons. [00:38:59] it has to be it has to be exclusives to the PS6 specifically don't give me any of this up-res stuff like we had with Spider-Man right which was at the launch of the PS5 right because right now I've got a slim the slim works just fine a lot of the games I'm playing anymore or anyways are PS4 games I'm not playing a ton of PS5 specific games just not and I think that just goes to the fact is we we don't have many we haven't
[00:39:29] had many you know and if the rumor is true we're going to be getting Final Fantasy 7 remake and rebirth on the switch too oh really yes it is rumored it's going to it's possibility we we know you know that remake itself should be able to run on the switch too because it's the run in 1080p and hopefully has enough RAM on board to handle some of those battles you know
[00:39:59] not slow down drastically but yeah that is rumor we're getting Final Fantasy 7 rebirth and remake on the switch too you know like for me it really depends on the direction Sony goes like if they keep doing remasters and remakes and doing live service games PlayStation doesn't need my money you know because we already know or we can wait
