[00:01:16] And learning that our good friend Jerry is Gucci as hell is that upon being asked their preferred cut of steak and given such as like a New York strip or a ribeye or a sirloin. And somebody says, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:01:38] I go Wagyu and specifically 60-40 and maybe sometimes Angus if I'm lowballing it. Not a lowball, like depending on like the cutter or the mixture. Yeah. Like 60-40. So if you're slumming it, it's Angus. Got it. Okay. I got it. I got it. No, I just like the juicier cuts. Yeah. It is chef Ben Robinson who was the yacht chef on Bravo's Below Deck.
[00:02:07] Oh, that's who you were talking about. Ben, he's my favorite. I like him. I haven't watched Below Deck for a few seasons. It kind of was a little tiring, especially when you ended up with three seasons per year. That's why I was, I'll do like, I'll do like three episodes and I'll binge like three or four episodes and then I'll like, I'll take a break for a couple of weeks. Like I've had enough. Just enough for them to get annoying. Yeah. Yeah. Or, or the guests.
[00:02:36] And then you get the guests. Right. Right. Or it's the flip side where it's the guests were like, okay, no, I can't take it. They are like, they may be rich, but they have no manners. And like, it's always that, it's always that situation. It's mostly that situation or they have like a challenging guest that, that knows that's been rich or the, like just cool rich people.
[00:03:02] But the most of the time it's the rich people, the newly rich that don't know how to like act. I feel like 90% of the time people that are on that show are not rich and they just know one rich person. Or they either. That's another scenario too. I feel that's common as well. That's reading them to it. Yeah. That's another scenario. This is how we're starting our night today. It's a, it is a good show, but like it in like small doses.
[00:03:32] Cause you get annoyed quick. So let's kind of, let's get into it. Cause we got a bit to talk about. Um, Oh my God. Yes. We need to follow up to last week. Okay. Because we talked about the passing of Dolly Parton. Yes.
[00:03:56] And at that moment in time, we were still on the clock after Hayden Panettiere passed away. And we said, Hey, who's the third going to be? We in our infinite wisdom did not say who we didn't update. That's true. We didn't mention any names or anything like that, but you're off the hook. Jay. Yes. You're off the hook this time.
[00:04:18] But, um, fate is a cruel, cruel person because, um, not only did we lose Tim Curry on Wednesday. Oh yeah. For a lot of us out there, we lost our childhood on Thursday and in the loss of Peter Cullen. Yeah. Who is otherwise known as the voice of Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime. Yeah.
[00:04:45] So, and thanks to you, when you went on your, uh, little binge to watch the movie, I went on the binge to watch the rest of the movies as well. It is still my ringtone right now. And, uh, man, it's just, it's just next level with his voice in, even in the live action ones, you know, uh, you, you know, regardless of your, uh, interpretation of them or a review on them.
[00:05:12] Um, you know, they are, uh, to me, they're, they're just fun, but I will say the very, uh, serious, uh, notes of the movie when it's Optimus Prime's time. Man, does it hit because he just knows how to deliver with that voice. We'll talk about him here in a second on how he came up the voice. But first, you know, let's, let's look at Tim Curry's career because yeah.
[00:05:36] Like, for instance, like he goes back to like, really when he broke out was 1975 with Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh wow. You know, I mean, he had some stuff and he was on, he was on theater, you know, and that's how the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's an iconic role. Oh yeah. And then there was some small stuff here and there. And then he was, would you say that was it, my guess would be Clue. Was that his kind of breakout or no? No.
[00:06:05] Well, I mean, no Rocky Horror Picture Show. Well, Rocky Horror. Yeah. But like his big, like his big, like Hollywood kind of like next level. No, he was, well, he was Rooster and Annie, but then. Oh, okay. You know, now granted Ridley Scott's legend. Okay. So it's probably legend. He was, he was darkness. Which he had another impact. Yeah. Which the funny thing is in that one is they actually had to build him an exoskeleton.
[00:06:35] So he didn't break his necks because the horns each weighed like 20 pounds a piece. Because back then things were like practical. So who knows what kind of materials they were using back then, if not like they were already like kind of aluminum or metal or yeah, man, that's crazy. And he didn't want to work with, he actually didn't want to work with Tom Cruise. Really? I read an interview about it. Like he wasn't looking forward to it because he didn't think that there was any talent there. No way. But then he said after he worked a little bit with him, he actually,
[00:07:05] was like, Hey, he's, he's a great professional dedicated to his craft. Like Tom wanted to sleep on the snow set. I'm not surprised. I'm really not surprised by that. But here's another thing is for anyone that's seen legend, Robert Picardo, a.k.a. the doctor from Voyager. Right. Okay. Plays Miss Meg.
[00:07:34] The, the, like the witchy creature that comes out of the swamp and wants to eat Jack. What? That's Robert Picardo. Mind blow. Oh, okay. That's a mind blow right there. Gnarly. This creature. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Meg Mucklebones.
[00:08:04] Interesting. Yeah. Also, uh, uh, side, um, story, uh, in, in practical, uh, uh, effects and like wardrobe, um, masters of the universe, uh, evil in, uh, the crown, like headpiece that she had to wear was actual, like full metal. And, um, at every day she, uh, ended up at the end of the shoot, she ended up having like some neck problems.
[00:08:31] Cause you know, that was the material that they were using, but yeah, well, anyway, so he was Wadsworth and clue. So yeah, that was, that was great. Obviously depending on, depending on which, like originally back in the eighties, depending on which version of the movie you saw, there was a different ending. And then like, once you bought it or got it digitally, they show you each, uh, each, there was a version. There was a version on VHS that was released that had all three endings.
[00:09:01] Oh, that's awesome. Oh, cool. I had, I owned it. Um, and then he was like, he was in the worst witch. Um, you know, and then he was a little bit, you know, just shows here and there. And then it was hunt for October. Yeah. I didn't realize he was on tiny tunes and tailspin. Oh yeah. Well, I mean, he, he was a predominant voice actor. I think his, I think honestly, his most prominent role outside of Dr.
[00:09:31] Frankfurter for Rocky or picture is him as Pennywise. Oh yeah. Once again, he's like the OG in that kind of a franchisor, you know? Yep. Then he was in Ferdin Goli. He did a couple of episodes for Batman. Um, his other iconic role is as a concierge in home alone too. Yep. Um, you know, I didn't realize he was on pirates of dark water.
[00:10:00] Oh man. It was actually, you know, what to the listeners and viewers? Uh, if you should research that cartoon, it is low key. Like even when he was out, it was like a very underrated, like niche cartoon. It was such a great story. It was such a great story. And like the toy, like the toys were even like hard to find. So it was like, it was a cool story. If you felt like, Oh dude, it was this obscure target or toys or us.
[00:10:30] Yeah. It was, it was really cool, but it was a great cartoon. Uh, in the three musketeers. Oh, that's right. Oh, and then as a Cardinal. And then one of my, that's right. The three musketeers and one of my favorite, the shadow. Another, uh, I would say obscure, like, uh, cult classic. Um, this is another one, you know, he was in, uh, wing commander three heart of the tiger,
[00:10:59] which was an OG PC and PlayStation one title. Uh, yeah, I used to play for like all the time. It was great. Sweet. And then the OG, another OG classic. Yep. He was Congo. Yep. Congo pebble and the penguin. He was long John silver and Muppet treasure. Oh, that's the Muppet. Yep. So many memorable roles. He was, I didn't realize this.
[00:11:27] He was the computer voice and captain planet. Oh, that's cool. I don't remember that either. I didn't know that. Um, yeah, just a lot of his stuff, you know, gargoyles. But, and that's, that's such a cool, that's what, you know, speaks on his career is that like, not only is he known so much for his, uh, physical and like, and, and, uh, live action
[00:11:51] roles, but he's also very well known in, in the voice action, uh, voice actor area of, of the, uh, industry as well. Cause he's had such a great balance of, of both, uh, uh, both projects. Um, and yeah, he's, he's clearly left. Yeah. This is just like, he was Ben like in one of everybody's favorite Scooby D movies, which is goes, he was Ben Ravencroft. Like the bad guy. Oh, I'd have to see that.
[00:12:19] I vaguely remember that. Yep. Um, in the remake of Voltron, he was Prince Lotor. Very cool. Like, this is like, you look at him being like, he's been in so much. Yeah. Uh, it just scary movie too. Yeah. The stuff he was at Samurai Jack. Like, like he was all over the place.
[00:12:47] Like he was, you know, Nigel Thornberry, you know, like just everything he did. And then of course the, the stroke essentially took him from us, you know, because he wasn't, it really hit him hard, you know, and he didn't do a lot of appearances late in life. Um, because of that, um, he was even on criminal minds.
[00:13:13] Like he was dragon age origins, you know, but yeah, he was, uh, one of the serial killers in criminal minds for a couple episodes. And he did so good in those episodes. Like it's the most intense creepiness to, uh, episodes of criminal minds. Yep. I haven't seen those. It's good. Oh yeah. So, and then when we look at it's technically only at one episode, but it's like a two part of, but he does.
[00:13:44] Yeah. Um, he was also in clone wars. He was chancellor Palpatine. Really? Yep. For, for all of clone wars for 10 episodes from 12 to 14. He was Palpatine. Hmm. Wow. I will have to rewatch that. I did not. Yeah. I mean, it was for a few episodes, but. Whoa. Okay.
[00:14:14] Interesting. Yeah. It looks like it was five and six. So episode season five episodes one 16 and 20. And then season six was one, two, four, eight, 10, 11, 12 or 11, 13. So dang. Okay. That I own wars. I think was what was only the six seasons. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then it ended with the movie. Yep.
[00:14:42] It started with the movie actually started with the movie. Yeah. Yeah. Um, and then when we look at Peter Cullen, like he did a lot of, you know, small bit stuff, but he, then he was in, you know, provided additional voices through a lot of our childhoods though. Like what Scooby do. Um, I didn't realize he was red skull in the original Spider-Man cartoon. So he was a regular working actor voice actor in, in his earlier. Yeah.
[00:15:10] So he was already a, a voice actor, a seasoned voice actor. When you say original Spider-Man cartoon, do you mean like Spider-Man and friends I'm guessing? Spider-Man. No, this was just Spider-Man. It was back in 81 to 82. Okay. You know, it was like a couple seasons right then in the beginning of the eighties. So think Spider-Man and friends, but just with Spider-Man, same animation and like slow kind of like from, from scene to scene.
[00:15:36] Um, there was something in between that before, uh, I think Spider-Man and friends or some or no, no, no, no. No, there's something after Spider-Man and friends. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I'm used to is the one that has. So I didn't realize he was, he was the, the gremlins and the Mogwai in gremlins in like the live action, like the live movie. Yeah. The live movie.
[00:16:06] This goes back to when we'll ship, but remember he was the predator. Like that was the one thing I, Oh, that's right. I totally forgot. We just found out he was, he was the voice of the predator. Yeah. Now was that also for the movie? Like he made the voice sounds for the whole voice sounds for them. Yep. Yep. He was, he was like, for me is I grew up on Voltron and transformers and all that. And I never put two and two together.
[00:16:32] He is the narrator for the voice or the narrator and Voltron. And he was Hutch for the entire. Really? In the original Voltron. Yes. Whoa. Oh dang. I yeah. Did not know that either. And then he was, and I also watched, Oh cool. I also watched the original dungeons and dragons cartoon. I didn't realize before me too. You know, and we were talking about, um, you know, transformers, right.
[00:17:02] And how he came up with that, that voice was he was telling his brother, Larry, who's going to have this, this role. And it was his brother, Larry, that told him that, you know, you've got to have this, that, that, that low voice that has to be soft, but a leader. And that's how he came up with the voice was because of his brother. Yeah. Um, but then when you look at it though, is I didn't realize he's actually in the go bots,
[00:17:30] which was the Kmart version of transformers back in the, that's funny. You know? And I think what's, what's hard about this whole thing is, is that he died just not too far after the 40th anniversary of us actually losing Optimus prime. Yeah. I, uh, I actually bought that, uh, anniversary edition for, uh, on, uh, on iTunes.
[00:18:00] So, and, uh, finally watched it, uh, and it really took me back on it. Yeah. It really took me back. And then I realized he was very well done. He was Xandar in GI Joe. Oh, cool. Ooh. Which Ghostbusters is that? Is that the, it's the, not the real Ghostbusters. Is that the one with the ape as well and stuff? Yes. That's one with the, I still watch some of the, some of that cartoon, but it was okay.
[00:18:31] Um, yeah. The predator. Sorry. It kind of accidentally clicked on it. That was my bad. Um, but yeah, he was, he's the actual predator. That's cool. Um, and he was in the real Ghostbusters. Awesome. Yes. He did go on to be in that sweet, but he did DuckTales. DuckTales. Oh, sweet.
[00:19:02] Visionaries. Like. I don't remember that. That was such a cool cartoon. I don't remember. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. Well, you're all a, yeah, this was honestly, yeah, this is before your time. Oh, uh, oh, the, oh, the OG Superman cartoon gnarly. Like when you, when we say he was the voice of our childhood.
[00:19:29] He was like, he really was. And, and man, did he not, he kept working. He was Monterey Jack in Chippendale rescue Rangers. Oh, that's right. That's right. He was Eeyore. I forgot someone. Oh, don't like, and then of course we get into transformers, the movies, the live actions. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. The Michael Bay's, the Michael Bay's.
[00:20:27] Which is, you know, what's going to suck is because they came back to do the, the last movie in the whole. Well, I actually was going, I was going to update. There was an update on that information. So the new reboot of the transformers has just made an announcement that Michael Bay will be involved with the new franchise reboot.
[00:20:56] I don't know what that is. He was supposed to be doing one that was to finish off his universe. Yeah. I don't think that's happening anymore. I think they want to reboot the whole thing. Um, I think the animated movie didn't help even though it was successful, but I heard, I guess it didn't help critically. And then, um, transformers one. Yeah. Which I enjoyed it. I mean, I liked it, but, uh, yeah, yeah.
[00:21:20] That would just got announced that, um, he's, he's involved in it, but it hasn't said that, um, he's directing. It just said that he's involved. And then his last Peter Collins, last project was invincible as Thaddeus. Or Thaddeus rather. Hmm. So I heard, uh, there's one more last project of his that it's, it's like a short, a transformer short film, uh, that's coming out soon.
[00:21:48] Um, it's, it's an array of, yeah. Um, it, it popped up, uh, recently. I think it's from IGN. It might be on a thing from IGN saying that, uh, there's going to be a number of, uh, uh, many short films and, uh, he's a part of a couple of them and it's really paying homage to transformers and the community and stuff. So, um, I, I heard that might also be along the lines of like, Oh, here it is.
[00:22:16] He's doing the transformers GI Joe crossover. Oh, that seems very fitting. Yeah. For that, which means that's going to, that is going to come off of rise of the beast. Uh, because remember at the end of rise of the beast, uh, the kid gets the card to, to join GI Joe. So, okay. Right.
[00:22:41] Um, so yeah, so like we lost two absolute legends and two of the nicest people, human beings to like last week, just fucking sucked for us losing great human beings, you know, legends and legends. And, and everything.
[00:23:00] And it's just, it hurts people who were definitely multi-generational and we're part of a lot of generations of families and people's lives where, you know, it's gonna, it definitely hits hard. Yeah. Sure. When we, I, the collective, it was like, honestly, like the whole thing in star Wars where they're talking about when all the ran is destroyed.
[00:23:30] And Ben is just like, it's like a million voices cried out in pain. And then we're suddenly silenced. It was like, man, there's still tributes online going out from Peter Colin right now. Oh yeah. So, um, all right, let's get talk. Let's get to, uh, talking about the gaming side of things. It's been an okay week for Sony and then it's been a bad week for Sony. Mm. Mm.

I went in and screwed around with it last night. It's not bad. It's not great, but there's a lot of, there's anime channels on there. There's sports. There's whole there's news.
[00:24:46] Like I went in, I was watching the BBC news. Yeah. That's like, just my first question, since I haven't looked into it and I'm sure you're going to get to it, but I just want to jump to it is, do you require PlayStation plus? It doesn't, it doesn't say that you need it. Okay. No, as of right now. And the love of the, it's not, it's just to have a PlayStation account. Yeah. Which is free.
[00:25:14] And that's been going around with a lot of, uh, the, you know, the influencers and on TikTok and YouTube that, uh, they've been saying the same thing that it's, it's not bad. It's, it's, uh, you know, it's okay. But once again, it's not a response. So, so here's some of the things that some of the channels they've got, uh, a channel specifically from Lionsgate. I'm down to have hot ones. You've got hot ones on there. I don't have hot ones.
[00:25:44] Um, Teen Wolf, which has got Tyler Hockland in it. There's like a channel just for Teen Wolf. That's not my bag, but I get it. Cool. No, what I'm saying is this like. Oh, that's awesome. Right. Yeah. Yeah. You know, um, you know, there's some NHL stuff. The Shield community. Dope. That's cool. There's some variety. Crunchyroll. That's awesome. Box heads. Oh, that's cool. With it, like saying like the Teen Wolf is a channel.
[00:26:09] So yeah, you don't get to necessarily pick which episode you watch or jump in. It's still. You just jump in and watch whatever's on. It's not on demand. It's still just like live TV. Yeah. But there was, um, but I was able to watch, uh, judge, or I was able to watch a dread rather on demand last night. Okay. As I think it's part of the Sony, the action hits. So you've got Sony one horror and action. And so you can always go on my account, dude. I have that. No, no, no. I was.

[00:27:33] Sony one horror hits, um, and action hits Cine vault, the TV shows. They've got community, the shield hell's kitchen, walking dead, uh, forensic files, unsolved mysteries, dealer, no deal USA fear factor. Um, and I throw truckers anime wise. There's a specific channels for Naruto, sailor moon, a hundred by a hundred death note. A couple other more is that a couple other ones that were on there.
[00:28:01] I didn't weren't ones that I recognize that we've talked about before. Um, they've got some sports on there. They've got news. Um, you know, to honestly give you like a trophy or what or an accomplishment or whatever. You are literally the first person I've ever heard somebody read hunter, hunter as hunter by hunter. Huh? Okay. What's this supposed to be? It's just,
[00:28:29] Oh, well, I know people say hunter X hunter, but you are literally the first person I've ever heard. Well, I'm definitely going to throw this scenario out there that I think if, uh, Sony wasn't in as hot, the, the hot water that it's in, just, and then hold on. Okay. Do you want to, do you want to read? Do you want to say your statement now and then see the hot water, the even hotter water they're in now?
[00:28:58] Or do you want to wait? No, I, this, this is just the scenario. I'm just saying the scenario that if, if they weren't in any hot water right now, and they debuted this as like an announcement as like, Hey, this is something I think they would have a much positive response. Positive response. Yes. And I don't think people would be as critical as looking into it because I think they would be saying this is like, okay, this is a first debut.
[00:29:26] It, this is the first, you know, debut of the, uh, inventory that's going to be shown, but it's, it just seems like a kind of a desperate move or kind of like desperate, not desperate, but maybe like some, some sort of saving face because of the hot water that they're in right now. I would cross the fence to desperate if they did what I would have probably suggested them
[00:29:51] to do even in this hot water is do a ad free trial for 30 days so that we didn't have ads. Cause I'm sure with the dark water or with the hot water that they're in right now, as soon as you see that it's ad supported, people are going to just, Oh, it's going to get hit. You know, the, the more and more it's going to get, uh, reviewed and like, it's free. Try it out. Like, right.
[00:30:19] Which is why I think, you know, it's kind of unfortunate, but you know, they, they put them, they put themselves here. They, they, they just wait. Cause it's going to get worse. Okay. Um, so not only do this, they also announced that there's a state, there's two state of plays coming on Thursday. Oh yeah. We're getting a normal state of play and we're getting a state of play Japan.
[00:30:46] Um, they're supposed to have an extensive, uh, walkthrough of revelation as well. Oh, um, and then, uh, PlayStation plus games for the month that Jason is not here for. Um, they are doing sniper elite resistance for the PS four and PS five and will be the show 26, which I already own.
[00:31:16] Um, wobbly life. Uh, don't know much about this. And then, uh, chained echoes, which is an RPG. Um, it's very much got that, like a chronic trigger. Yeah. I was about to say like, it kind of fits your wheelhouse dude. Um, now I'm going to say this about. So MLB, the show 26.
[00:31:44] Um, I caught it on sale, uh, back around the all-star break installed it, played it for all of 10 minutes, uninstalled it and reinstalled the show 25. Mm. Wow. You hate hearing that. They made changes. That's unfortunate. They made some changes to franchise mode that may basically make it extremely hard for anybody that's been a fan of franchise for ages. Like sucks.
[00:32:12] If you want to hit the show, like every one of the franchises, they, they do it to, to every one of them when it comes to Madden or the other, other ones, that sucks when that happens. If you go on the PlayStation store and there'll be the show 26 is one of the lowest rated. Wow. That's a bummer. I would say this is just like a mediocre, like solid month, a little bit of a little taste of everything.
[00:32:39] It's, you know, honestly, I'm going to say this, you know what in, in Jason's words, it's eh. Yeah. It's just like for me, this is a C, this is barely a C. Like I am not, I'm not impressed with it. Solid little like, okay. A little bit of everything. I'm not surprised. Let's go to next month. If you're in hot water, are you going to give away free stuff or are you going to try to do things to make money? Well, let's talk about that.
[00:33:05] Well, as of right now, I'm sure they're, they're talking strategy right now still, but well, there's, there's a rumor coming out that they're rethinking the whole 2028. Yeah. I heard that too. I hope that's, I'm hopeful, but we'll see. Well, we'll see because they're in some real hot water in California right now.
[00:33:31] They're in court and a lot in a class action lawsuit over the digital store. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, because they are, um, being sued for, uh, not stating per California law, AB 2426, uh, that puts in plain language that buying or purchasing the digital goods is a license.
[00:34:01] Okay. Okay. So here's the thing. So basically it started off these two guys. They bought resident evil Requiem. Right. They're arguing that because two of them purchased the same game, just 11 days apart. That means no reasonable consumer can assume they owned exclusive rights to a digital copy given out. Anyone could buy the same copy at any given time.
[00:34:28] Um, in their motion to dismiss Sony said they have, they argued it made clear in its terms of service and end user license agreement that it's digital games are purchased, not owned. Remember we've talked about this before, right? Yeah. Okay. But here's the thing. And I went on to the store before tonight to actually verify this and I'm going to call Sony's bullshit on this. I think so as well, or the very least it would not be an attachable external drive. Like it is on the PS five. They might have an external.

So like I've been old man and in bed, like nine 30, 10 o'clock. Like last night I had passed out at 10.

Like, cause I'm doing three minute warmup on the treadmill. Then 15 minutes at the normal pace, which now I'm at 6% incline at a 3.6 mile per hour pace. Wow. Um, which nice, you know, for those people that have driven in mountains, not Jerry, cause he doesn't know what those are.
[01:06:46] Um, we are, we are mountain. We are mountain. Hills. Hills. Anyways. Um, Theo has driven up though in some of the mountains up there in Colorado and they, you, you drive on those and they say, Hey, this is a 7% incline for like the trucks and shit. Like, Oh, I'm almost there. Oh, nice. Yeah.
[01:07:09] Um, and then on the elliptical, I started doing my old track workout, which was you sprint the, the curves and kind of walk the straightaways and stuff like that. So I started doing that kind of a tempo pacing on the elliptical because the ones in the rehab center have a track mode on it. So it actually puts up a track loop and does the 400 meters. So I can actually do it like I used to do it in track.
[01:07:38] Um, and then the arm bike, I am up to a 35 resistance and that'll be probably where it'll stay next week. Like, but we're getting there. It's just, honestly, it's just doing a straight boom, boom, boom. Like there's now four things I'm doing straight in a row with no brakes. I'm going from the treadmill to the elliptical to the stationary bike to the arm bike.
[01:08:05] Like I'm just moving station to station and you know, it's now I'm doing, you know, that's what 20, it's 40 minutes of that. Cause I do roughly 20, almost 20 minutes on the treadmill, 10 on the elliptical, 10 on the bike. Plus it's three minutes on the arm bike. So it's like, how likely do you think with how often you're doing this?
[01:08:30] Like, are you going to build up a want to start working out more and you just going to, you're sort of going to be a gym bro. So I get released officially from rehab on the 16th. Okay. They have a phase three, which is I get to go in, I get to use all the equipment whenever I want to. Um, I'm just not hooked up to the, the EKG, but it is 30 sessions for 90 bucks. Nice. That's cool.
[01:08:59] I am going to drop the money and say, here you go and keep on going. Like, um, part of it is because I'm, I've got that itch and it's like addicting, you know? Um, yeah. Once you get going in and once you start feeling more and more better, you really kind of want to challenge yourself and, and continue going and, and you make more challenges, uh, more and different challenges for yourself.

We go to rehab, we come home, eat homework, get ready for bed, you know? So it'll give them a little bit of a break from the doctor's appointments and stuff like that. So, um, but yeah, I plan to keep on going, especially when, when you look at a gym membership in comparison is like, you're just going to go and show up. Yeah. There's other people that'll be there.
[01:09:54] There's weight, like huge weight machines and stuff. But where I look at it is with what I've gone through with my heart surgery and stuff like that. Everybody there at the hospital knows like re all the, you know, the, the nurses and stuff there in the rehab center. They know exactly what I went through. They know my chart. Like if something were to happen, they would know what to do. They would know what to do. My cardiologist is right down the hall.
[01:10:22] My freaking surgeon is the next building over. Like, and I'm sure the gym isn't as busy as it like a normal gym would be like, it would be, you know, a little bit more. Everybody that's going through. Yeah. It's everyone that's going through the same things I did. So it's like, you know, when I see people that are starting to struggle a little bit, I just be like, dude, I just, I've been through this. I know what you're going through. Just push through it just a little bit, you know, just. Okay. And start giving back, you know, and I want to start, you know, doing volunteering and stuff there.
[01:10:53] So, yeah. Cool. Cool. So, with that, you know, just a couple updates. So, first and foremost, next Tuesday night, everybody, we are not going to be recording. So there won't be an episode at all next week because I'm traveling, I'm traveling back from Colorado. We are doing, my buddy Jake, who I've talked about on the podcast is battling cancer.
[01:11:20] We're doing a fundraising dinner for him this, this coming weekend in Colorado. So, my place needs to be there. So, also to during next week, everybody keep your, your thoughts and your prayers with the families that lost friends and family in during 9-11 because it is the 25th anniversary of 9-11 next week. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:11:49] That hits hard for me because I'm a native New Yorker. Mm-hmm. I was born an hour and a half north of New York City. I have, I was, I went back to New York the year after 9-11 and I was at, I've been down to ground zero. Like when they were still clearing it out. And I got to see the steel girders that formed that cross, that just natural cross that now got moved over to Trinity Church.
[01:12:19] I've seen that at 9-11. I picture, or at ground zero, I have pictures of it. Like it hits home. It really does. And I think it's been 25 years since that, that happened. So, yeah. Yeah. You know, it, it's still one of those times every year I always watch 9-11, like the movie and, and, and World Trade Center and stuff.
[01:12:41] So, you know, keep those, keep all those, you know, families, especially, you know, um, flight 93 for all those families as well, you know? Um, but with that, uh, as always feel like Richard, it's first time joining us. And, hey, thank you.
