[00:00:08] Welcome to Crashing Game Night, my name is Matt Duario, your host as always as we do a take two on the start of tonight. We have our version of John Cena because you can't see him, Gerard Verrera. That's right, I'm even doing the patented John Cena, you can't see me, but now because you really can't see me, you can only hear me. That's right, what's up guys? That's right baby!
[00:00:37] We got the babyface one Theo. Walski, I mean like just for this video as we're talking I hope you change your profile picture to John Cena just to add to the bit. That would be funny. Oh that's a, okay you know what, good idea. I'm gonna try and find a good one. We do love John Cena. Anyway, and then we got the maitre d services, the man with the couch, the man, the myth, the legend, the lion's mane, Jason Balletio.
[00:01:03] How's it going guys? How's it going tonight? Actually you can see me. And it is uh, gonna be another night where uh, I have a little bit of food. Jason turn off the camera, you look too good, I don't need to see your face, you look too good right now. Stop it, stop it, right now. I had to trim my beard man, I had to trim my beard, it's all good. So, I'll be remiss with, right? Always ever, always much. Not with Jerry being back for this, cause Jerry will appreciate a little bit of this.
[00:01:32] Um, gotta give a 25th anniversary shout out to Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum. Oh dang. Because 25 years ago this week, Smallville debuted. Oh okay. Oh my god. Wow. Yeah. Dang. Hence. Oh very cool.
[00:01:59] So, yeah, I was like, has it really been 25 years? And it's like, oh yeah. For our listeners, Matt is wearing a Superman shirt. Yeah. Oh, good idea, good job. My uh, my black with the red crest shirt. But uh. Kind of reminds me of Superboy though. It is the Superboy shirt, but he does wear this shirt in the show. Yeah. True. Smallville at least. Yes, in Smallville.
[00:02:28] So, um, but yeah, it's, I can't believe it's been 25 years. Right? Crazy. Yeah. Just because it's been all over my feed lately on, on TikTok. It's also one tree hills, 23rd anniversary. Is that's why my feed has been getting so much. It's still. I guess, I guess it's an anniversary thing. Like, do they get to get, yeah, a full reunion. Do they play like a basketball game? Yes. Like for charity?
[00:02:58] Yeah. Okay. So that's been on my feed. I've been like, do they do this every year? Is this like random footage coming out? I'm actually with a day's drive if I want to go down to the, go down to it and see it. Oh, really? Oh, cool. Yeah. Oh, that's pretty cool. Yeah. It's not, it's just down in North Carolina. Okay. Oh, sweet. So they have it like where they shot it and everything or the, at school or whatever.
[00:03:27] Uh, I think maybe. Oh, okay. Sorry. I can't, it's off the rails per usual. It's just, yeah. Random thoughts. Uh, it's Wilming, Wilmington, North Carolina, which is where they filmed the nine seasons. Oh shit. Okay. Oh, cool.
[00:03:52] So yeah, they have the, you know, the building is still there where they did like the Karen's cafe close over bros, um, where they shot trick is there. Um, and they do it at the local high school there in Wilmington. Okay. Um, but the game looks like they did this year's convention was at the Wilmington convention center. Hmm. So. Yes. Yes. For, for our viewers, please. Please.
[00:04:22] At this point, go watch and pull up the vid just so you can see. You're welcome. That's what I can find. What Jerry looked like. Oh my Lord. Oh my God. If you can see him, if you can see him, like, like it's kind of brief. Oh no, man. I can't see it. I can't see it. I can't see it, dude. You gotta see between the lines, man. You gotta see. Yeah, bro. Yeah. Yeah. That's also why I chose like one that's a little great. Oh, that's so great. I love that.
[00:04:51] I'm in his seat right now. Oh my God. He looks like he's in his seat. He's actually in his seat. That's so good. That is awesome. That's pretty good, dude. Dude, Theo, kudos for the idea. That was a gold idea. This is so great. I didn't know they updated it, so it actually shows your icon. Yeah. Because I was thinking like I was either going to be on top or I was going to be shrunken down, but that's great. Well, before they never showed the icons. You would just be an empty seat. Yeah, you're right. Yeah.
[00:05:21] That's funny, dude. So let's get into this. There's a bit to talk about. That looks so good. We are going to start off with the first topic tonight is the digital versus physical war has kind of heated up a bit. So my God, two weeks ago, first things first, the program that they rolled out to insiders, it started rolling out to other players now at Xbox where you could put your physical
[00:05:46] disc inside the your Xbox and then you get a digital license to play the game. So you didn't need to have your disc or anything like that. Now, it is one of those things that if you get rid of your disc, either a by letting somebody borrow it or be a trade it in, you lose your license on your console, which is like I find strange. So I do understand that like it's tied to the disc, but I mean like, but at the same time,
[00:06:16] like if your disc ends up, let's say destroyed for some reason, at least you still have access to your game. Right? No, you do not. Why? Yeah. Oh, you don't have that. If you were, if you've already attached the license to your account and the destroy the destroyed and is never, that's true. You are right. Yeah. You should still have it. Right. Technically. Yes. Okay.
[00:06:42] Um, a lot of people are like, Oh, this shows that Xbox is supporting physical. No, it ain't. There's not. I mean, not really. It's kind of, it's kind of a, like a, an underhanded way of like, kind of, it's not promoting you to go buy a disc. I mean, it's just, no, it's going what you already have. It's like game key cards. Yeah. Yeah. In a way. It's already that way. So. Disgusting.
[00:07:08] Um, and along with this, there was an interview with the head of Nintendo Latin America, where they asked him, what was Nintendo's take on physical games? And they have said they have no plans to change and move away from physical because currently right now, I believe it's like a 60 40 split digital, the physical on the switch on switch. Pretty fair.
[00:07:38] That's pretty fair. The same time too, man. Like remember Nintendo can do whatever it wants, man. Yes. It could do whatever it wants. It can do no wrong at this point in life. No, they can't. There's definitely room to be, to do wrong. There's room. There's room. But, but in translation to Jason, I would say yes, their decision making and their, they
[00:08:04] have not there, uh, since the entire this entire time, they really haven't made as many mistakes. Well, I would say as many mistakes as Sony as an, and Xbox as Microsoft. I would say like the only thing that I think they, they made a little headway in was the game, the game, uh, keys and maybe the price hikes, which were all like natural things that like had to occur. Yeah.
[00:08:32] The game keys were, were like really inevitable, like something with other third parties that they had to deal with. So really they really have a great track record compared to the other companies. And like you said, Jason, their track record just speaks for it that they really can't do any wrong as long as they track record goes on. It's the fact that I've said many, many times before, as long as there are children in the
[00:09:00] world, young and old, Nintendo cannot do anything wrong. They will, they will have bad games all day long games that you are like, why did you make this? But that's not going to matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You can sell the dumbest game for $45 on a Nintendo switch. And all they would have to do is yeah, either that or the, to redeem themselves, they would come out with another franchise kind of game.
[00:09:30] Just, just, yeah. And another man and Mario something. And then, you know, they're back to being happy and they'll go back to trying another different game because they're creative. And I don't have a problem paying the extra $10 for a physical copy over a digital record that clip, that clip, that clip clip it. Cause that's right.
[00:09:53] Cause after years and episode in episodes, I want that. I clipped, clipped. We, we get a digital clip there. No. So here's the thing is because with, with switch to games, like forthcoming Ocarina of the, almost 30, you know, in size, you've got, um, Metroid ravenous is going to be like 20,
[00:10:23] 25 in there. You know, the Zelda, the, uh, tears of the kingdom is 20 breath of the wild is 25. Like for that size to not have to eat up all the memory on my, on my switch. Yeah. And hate to say this, but, but if I get a point, but to your point with that statement, didn't
[00:10:48] we previously talk about how Nintendo is moving away from games being on the cartridge? It's still only a license anyways. No. So it's only certain games. So yeah, uh, it's mostly right now. It is on third party titles that are kind of doing it. Uh, square Enix is doing it on all of their titles. So they're either doing it as a game card or digital only. I case in point, uh, the final fantasy 10, 10 to a switch to edition is digital only.
[00:11:20] Um, final fantasy seven remake and rebirth. Those are game key cards, uh, kingdom hearts, game key cards. So it's more on the publisher side. Yes. Um, now they did do, uh, a game key card with, uh, what is it? Pocopia or however you want to pronounce it. The, the Pokemon animal crossing game. Oh, it's pretty cool. Pocopia. Yeah. So they went, they went with a game key card for that game.
[00:11:50] Um, so it's, it's kind of, it's publisher. Really based. Um, but the fact is, you know, at least you're sticking by physical. Whereas, uh, the PR machine just keeps on losing for Sony because also in news this week, somebody deployed a jailbreak on a PS five. Oh yeah.
[00:12:15] And found out that the PS five is more than capable of running PS two and PS three discs. Oh, that sucker. Different joke than what I heard backwards compatible. So at this point, Sony isn't basically. But I mean, like in retrospect, with the, the exception of it being the discs, we've always
[00:12:42] known that it's been backwards compatible to play the games. Yeah. Oh yeah. In the sense that just, but I think it's been subscriptions and everything. So, but I thought, I thought it was kind of vague in the form of like, it, well, isn't this in regards to like, if you wanted to use a physical disc in a, in a console or do you mean like. No, it's a physical disc. Oh, it's a physical disc. Yeah.
[00:13:06] So yeah, that's what I, I think the, the disconnect is, is that I think it, it revolves around the physical consoles, the consoles with a disc drives can take the physical discs discs and read them. And play them. And have we been misled? My point was, no, but it's not a matter of being misleading. It's just that my point was that we've always known it has the capability. No. Because Sony has flat out said. In the back end.
[00:13:33] It's a matter of the back end because if it, if it can run the game itself, it's not a matter of the disc anyways, because it's still been Blu-ray for the past 20 years. Mm-hmm. Correct. Right. Right. It's not a matter of them just having it. It was quote unquote, the processor. It's not a matter of the processor either. It's just that's what Mark Cerny claimed them. It's the code in the back. No, that is what Cerny is claiming. No, that's bullshit. It's bullshit. They would have to throttle down the processor to do a PS2 game.
[00:14:02] And because the PS3 games were done with cell processors, it's a completely different processor altogether. Why would they have to throttle down? Yeah, why would they have to do it? If it can run the game on the same processor as it is. Yeah. Wouldn't it just adjust to the weaker? You would think. It's bullshit. But that's what PlayStation has said all these years is that it can't play it because of the processor. Bullshit. It's called bullshit. It's what it's called. Huh. Well, now it's got, now there's proof out there in the wild. That's crazy.
[00:14:31] It's like they've put the disc in, especially a PS3, which PS3 is the only one I would understand it not potentially running because of the way the cell processor was designed. It was designed differently than computer, actual computer processors. But. Theo, I need you to say it again. Bullshit. Thank you. Shit. He's over here. He's clipping shit. Just press the button, press the button. Yeah, that's the button.
[00:15:00] So let's, let's go. No, cause I agree. That's bullshit. Yeah. Now let's, now let's further go down the bullshit hole. But I mean, but to add onto that bullshit, it's just banking on your target audience. I also, yeah. Doesn't understand technology that they're using. And that also, that makes no, I don't understand why wouldn't they want that secondary market to be like flourishing as well. If you can. Because they want all digital.
[00:15:28] Oh yeah, that's true. If that was the, the main saying is that it's planning on this all digital for over a while. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. So let's further go down the bullshit hole. So the last episode, we talked about the pre-orders for God of war. Okay. Yeah. They're going the route of GTA six. They're doing a special box with God of war.
[00:15:56] No, all digital or they're doing they know. So limited edition box. The collector. Remember we talked about the grand theft auto $500 collector box. This is a no game box. Okay. So you're getting that now. Do your gas. Yeah. You're getting a mini art. Still want to get them.
[00:16:26] A light up statue. Nope. And a 51 card Oracle deck. Oh, Oracle deck. Oh, it looks like terror cards. I will personally admit that I find that more appealing than the GTA stuff. Yeah. This, this makes more sense for the GTA against the GTA. I'm I, I still understand the frustration and I am also angry about not no game, but for,
[00:16:56] for a fan, I would definitely buy the game separately and I would definitely consider buying this. I'm just curious if it's like an actual writer tarot 51 card deck. So here we go. I guarantee you that's like the replacement for the art book, dude. They're, they're all going to just be kind of like, Oh, there's already a mini art book. Oh, dang. So they made an, um, an actual deck. Oh, that'd be, I like that.
[00:17:24] It is custom illustrations for each card by the talented, uh, Megan Lara. The Oracle deck is a beautiful representation of your venture through ever when is. That's dope. Okay. All right, dude. Hit me with it. Hit me with it. Your price is 150 bucks. That's not bad. Okay. For three things. That's not bad at all. No way. That's not bad. I would reorder that. That's how markets are right now.
[00:17:53] Like a light up statue. Right. Exactly. A, you know, hold on. You know, it's going to be a light up. It's easily go under by itself. It needs a USB power source, which, you know, they ain't sending you the USB cable with that. I got plenty. I'm cool with that. Yeah. I was going to say like, everything's got that. Yeah. Unless it's like micro USB. Like, here's the thing is always like, that's such a slap in the face. Like, come on. Yeah.
[00:18:18] They're not even doing a steelbook with it, nor are they even just doing a version that's got a digital download code for the game. But will we? Well, cause they're already doing their own deluxe. But I mean like, what if they can do a steelbook for if it's all digital? Because. No, they're doing a, they're doing a physical, they are doing a physical disc. Oh yeah. Couldn't you think about this, right? Couldn't you drive a little bit more from sales?
[00:18:45] I hate to say this by people buying the physical disc and like, ooh, look, I want the steelbook for it. I do agree. I think it's a mis-opportunity for the steelbook. The primary purpose is for it to just be collector's items. Yeah. Without a game. Yes. Wouldn't it make sense to not include a steelbook if it's the purpose is to not include the game? I do see your point. If you include a steelbook without the game, I would be royally pissed. True. True.
[00:19:10] Um, but I do see the other side of like, that may have been a missed opportunity, but for the more mass appeal. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I can, I can see that argument too. It's just, uh, either way as the fan, um, probably going to pre-order. I mean, I don't, I, I, I am definitely later on about the, the, the, so reasoning behind
[00:19:39] this too, especially with GTA. You might want to go try and, uh, you might want to see if it's still available cause it was, uh, highly limited quantities exclusively direct from PlayStation. Okay. So most likely that's going to be, uh, you know, down the line, um, as I, you know, I'll do it still pretty long case. We, that's gone. Maybe I, especially with bots and everything too. Yeah. Due to high demand, this product is limited to one per order.
[00:20:09] Dope. Still bots. Okay. Still bots. Still people keep trying to bring me down boys because you won't, I still have hope. No, I'm just kidding. I'm going to wait on it, but that's definitely something I'm, I'm going to keep an eye out for. That's something I'm definitely hunt for. That's cool. Yep. So the God of war, uh, collection. So for, uh, those of us that are fighting for democracy.
[00:20:39] Yes. This dropped in it. We are getting the, Oh, I sent you this. The moment I saw this, I sent you it. We are getting scope of authority. This is totally Taylor Taylor made all sniper, all scope. I will get these dudes like a sniper masks armor. Oh, I will spend the extra money that I need to for that war bond. Absolutely. Just saying.
[00:21:10] The moment. Yeah. The moment I saw it. Yeah. So we're getting a bolt action sniper rifle. Um, getting an SMG. I'm hoping that that is considered a sidearm. It is considered a sidearm. It is considered a sidearm. It is actually a one handed machine pistol. Oh, I might have to open up that war band too. Cause that's pretty good.
[00:21:36] I have a SMG and it is not, it's not a pistol size. Cause that, yeah, that basic one, it's okay in a pinch for when you're starting, but it's to, to explore other ones. Cause, uh, that kind of build can really like save your ass in a pinch. And we're getting an upgraded anti-material rifle. Ooh, it is, uh, assist reloaded assisted reload.
[00:22:05] Oh, home improvement. Oh, that's awesome. Well, and then assisted reload. Does that mean that it's like auto reload? No, that means somebody else has to help you with it. Oh, I take that ground back. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I feel like that's at least a new spin on, um, cooperative gameplay, at least. Yes.
[00:22:32] I mean, like, I don't know, to actually force people to do things. It's like doing mechanics in Final Fantasy or Destiny. Like you have to have somebody else do it. We're getting a laser sniper rifle. Oh, we're getting, we're getting caltrops. That was okay. That looked all right. I think like, if you ever want to just cover yourself behind, like from behind. Not bad. I mean, I think there are uses for it. Jerry, I dropped those, I dropped those mines behind me. So it's kind of the same thing.
[00:23:02] And how many times did I pronounce those damn things? Yes, you did. You're into those. Losing my direction. Like running in circles. Especially when you put down your darn cannon that shoots me out of nowhere every damn time. Oh yeah. I can't even see a bug. Yeah, it's dumb. My bad. Dude, last, last night we had to use flamethrowers and we were setting each other on fire. Dude, we got so bombarded. Like we both threw turrets and we, we did not realize they were like catty corner from each other.
[00:23:32] So we were directly in the crossfire, like running in circles, trying to like avoid fire because there were bugs all over, like all around us. Oh yeah. I, I, one of us are either, either both of us died, but yeah, it was funny. To Jerry's point, we're getting the light armor, uh, ghillie suit. That is actually. We're also getting a medium armor. That is kind of the same way. Dope. This is actually kind of dope, actually. So, uh, this adapts to any world you go in. See?
[00:24:02] Here we go. So if you're in desert, swamp, like whatever. Yeah. No, it actually adapts to the camouflage adapts to the, um, to the environment. There's no like actual like benefit. It's just the look. No, like it's like you're within the environment. So it's harder for you to, for them to see you. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Cause I was going to be really hyped if it was like, if you're on the snow one that you can actually like, Oh, blend in a little faster in the snow.
[00:24:33] Oh yeah. Yeah. No, not like that. I think, I think it's mainly like stealth and, uh, well, we're getting passive armor stationary shroud. So no matter which one you choose for the job, both armors equipped with stationary shroud passive, which reduces weapon sway and detection range by mimicking foilage concealment. Yeah. While in the crouched or prone position. I would definitely get the ghillies. Crouch down and watch your hell diver disappear into the wilderness.
[00:25:01] So, so maybe that's kind of dope. I'll be going that route. So I might actually just want the armor. Cool. Yeah. And I got redacted. You want redacted. I'm going this route. You want this for out. I get it. You just, Oh, shut your face. There they were, they were good decisions. In my mind. While I hear you guys talking about your way you want to do it. Like, I'm just imagining there'd be a night that like Matt just says like, Hey Jerry, there's a nest over there.
[00:25:30] Can you go over there in front of me real quick for a moment? And then you just. Oh, no, that's happened. If I'm going to do that, it's a shovel. Just saying that's happened before. But I will say that that's only happened once. You've been good. Once. Yeah, just once. I said, see if it works. I know more are to come. Oh, no, it was different. How many times last night I had, I could pick, I picked up a shovel to try and dig up some samples, which I'm going to do it.
[00:26:00] Which ended up being there. I could have turned and swung at Jerry. But because of past transgressions, I was already twitchy and I was already ready. Yeah. I mean, it's bad enough. I torture him by go look a shovel. Matt's a great restraint on his violent nature. Oh, the old days of Call of Duty. All right.
[00:26:29] Let's make Jason's month. Maybe. Probably not. It's the PlayStation Plus monthly games for October. Oh, all right. We're getting F-125. Okay. Hunt Showdown 1896. Interesting. And Earth Defense Force World Brothers 2.
[00:27:00] What? I just, I just heard him say Hell Divers 2 in a different way. Is that like, is that Minecraft or is it Legos? I don't know. Or is it like off brand? Like Roblox to me. Oh, okay. All right. Jason. Not. See, I didn't know this was going to happen. I didn't know this was going to happen. I didn't know this was going to happen. And I've been telling you guys. This month, this month's total wash. Total wash. You know why?
[00:27:30] GTA 6 is coming out. It's got less than a month. We're about a month away. GTA 6. Nobody's going to play these games. Nobody's going to download these games. I'm like that. I cannot wait. You know what's better than GTA 6? They're just washed. They're just washed. You know what's better? You gotta get them. You know what's better that's coming out than GTA 6? I don't know what you're talking about. Ocarina of Time. Okay. Okay. That's beautiful. That's a strong argument.
[00:28:00] But I still have not played Ocarina of Time. And I don't know if it's worth me getting a Switch 2 just. Oh, it was that. That and Metroid Ravenous. And honestly, I love my Switch 2. It looks great. It plays great. There's enough Switch 2 games along with Ocarina that allow me the. I don't know.
[00:28:27] I feel like it's a sound decision now if I wanted to get one. Yes. There's plenty of games to get. The Zelda. I will say the Ocarina and the Zelda console is a huge giant excuse to get it. So. To be able to play some games. I totally concede. Did you snag it? No, no, not yet. But there is news in that front. I guess Nintendo is planning a large.
[00:28:56] I guess not shipment, but a large set for the demand with the consoles and the controllers. Because they do understand the whole bot situation. Like I guess they address all of that. And they are getting ready for a huge like restock to other stores and their own store as well. So there is hope. I haven't heard anything about it. The difficulty in getting it. Our Madden and my buddy Scott got one. The Zelda? The Zelda?
[00:29:26] Yeah. The Zelda? The Zelda? Oh shit. Nice. Nice. He was able to order one. Through who though? I did not ask. Oh, okay. Dang. Okay, cool. Cause. You know he ain't gonna play that though. No, but I mean still it's gonna be a nice show piece. That's for sure. Yes, it will. So. Otherwise his boys are playing on his account like all the time. Yes.
[00:29:53] But, you know, the fact that we also get to play Wind Waker. And. Oh, yeah, that's right. Wind Waker is only available on Switch 2 isn't it? Yes. And I have the controller to play it with. Very cool. Just saying. I said it's not worth it's not worth nothing. Nothing, nothing is gonna happen. It's gonna be a stagnant month for everything sales wise until GTA 6 comes out.
[00:30:23] I'm not gonna lie to you. I don't know. It's what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is. Just accept fate. Okay. Can you sound any more morbid about it? I will be behind Jason. As long as I will be. I will be behind Jason if those same people play Pokemon and avoid Delta Rain. So that way I can actually get some product and they can just stick to GTA. Hey, you know what man? Not gonna lie. The scalpers are real bro.
[00:30:52] No, I think Pokemon found out how to curb all the scalpers dude. That Pokemon 30 is man. They're printing the crap out of it. They killed a lot of people. Oh my God. What happened? It was insane. Dude, did you see Costco cracking down on people? On members? It was insane. Dude, have you also heard that the scalper or a group of scalpers were trying to sue Pokemon? What? For the set? Yeah.
[00:31:22] Trying to sue. That's so insane. That's so stupid. The studious set just destroyed the market. Because of the pull rates. Yep. That's crazy. It's too easy to get the good cards. So flooded the market with high stock. That's so funny. That's hilarious. That is so funny. That's great. We're in chase cards with unusually high frequency, dropping secondary market values by
[00:31:52] much as 90%. Fuck yeah. Yup. Yeah. Good. Because it should be all about the collecting, not about the profit. 10 bucks. It's only been out for a month so far. Dude, I was in Target the other day when they released those bundles. Man, that parking lot was full for like eight o'clock in the morning. I'm like, what the heck is going on? I walked back by electronics and it's a line all the way down the back of the store. Was that the Target event thing?
[00:32:22] I don't know. But all I know is they had limited stock on all the packs and everything. Was it a couple of days ago? Oh, it looks like you can pre-order them on GameStop. Yeah. It's on Saturday. The 30th Celebration Booster Bundle Box. Yeah. Yeah. You can pre-order them on GameStop right now. Yep. Nice. Though you can get those on GameStop, they are way overpriced. Those are PS5. For the booster box.
[00:32:50] They're available for the second wave of that release, which is the end of the month, October 30th. Okay, real quick. Ah. Just to segue off again, but it's a good talking about overpricing. What the hell, GameStop pricing a PS5 Pro at $1,400? What? So I'm glad they turned that up because I kind of wanted us to talk about that.
[00:33:17] So like, I feel like, because I feel like this is inevitable with the whole purchase. I forget which side purchased which. The purchase between GameStop and eBay. What the hell? Who purchased who again? Like GameStop purchased eBay? No, they tried to and they couldn't do it. The ground is $1,300. Holy shit. It's along the same lines. I mean, with eBay being a reseller and GameStop being a reseller. Like it's... Look at this. Not surprising. Even for pros, it's $13,300. That's insane.
[00:33:48] And they're selling out of them at that price. Yep. Yes sir. Yes sir. Scalper should have learned about this. Get them PS5s, bro. I guess. To be perfectly honest, I'm kind of surprised that this didn't happen sooner with the shortage of imports and chips and everything like that. So, I mean... I mean... You look at their...
[00:34:15] Like a standard old school PS5 bundle is... Or just standard console is $560 now. Yeah. So that's pretty close to release price. That is crazy. No, we didn't pay $600 for that. Yeah. We did not pay... I was thinking the $532. Oh no. So you got $500 when we released it. Mm-hmm.
[00:34:45] Yeah, but like a used... That's so crazy. All digital is going for $5. Look at that dude. It tripled in price. Tripled. We are back to the scalper days of when PS5 released. Damn. Yes we are. How the hell are we getting a second revival of this? That's insane. How? Why? I'll give you one word. I'll let you know right now. Go ahead baby. GTA 6. GTA 6.
[00:35:14] It's not GTA 6. Well, no. Actually, it is... It is GTA 6 combined with the fact that you cannot get a hold of console. So it's lots of supply and demand. Well, that's fine. Which is... Come on bro. Why are you guys doubting me? Why are you guys doubting me all the time? I'm not doubting you. Why are you doubting me all the time? I just said it's GTA 6 combined with... No, I'm doubting you. Nobody can get a hold of consoles. So... So frustrating.
[00:35:41] Yeah, but it's all because of this second hand market resell economy or whatever you want to call it that we have. Because we can't buy anything new. Like nobody... Everybody wants to be in business for themselves and what do they do? They make retail the middle man now. Yeah. They are their... The retail is their distributor. So now we have two forces of distributors. We have the production, then the distributor, then the retail, and then we have the reseller.
[00:36:10] So we're even going to get nothing. I wonder if Best Buy even has them in stock. I doubt it. But I will definitely say that to my knowledge, Best Buy has been the number one retailer for maintaining MSRP. Nope. Nope. Damn. Not anymore. Thanks for making me eat my words, Best Buy.
[00:36:40] Didn't take a while. Oh my God, you guys suck. Look at this. Oh, Best Buy, you suck. 1TB PSI Slim 650. Yeah, yeah. Slim console. No, it's just the Slim. The Pro. Let's go look at this. Pro is almost 1500. What a... 1460, high demand. This item is expected to sell out quickly to improve your odds of getting one. We've updated our reservation process. Pickup not available. Shipping to wherever. And it's because they're going through...
[00:37:10] The reason it's 1460 is because it's going through a private seller. So Best Buy doesn't even have it available. So Best Buy can't even get it from the distributor. Yeah. Yeah, boy. Yeah, boy. That's what GTA is doing. What? Like... What? The slim console with a disk drive. 660. And it has to come from a third party.
[00:37:37] It can't even come from Best Buy. Like... Insane. Part of this is... And I think Jason is absolutely right on that. Your boy is right. Just say it. Just say it. Your boy is right. It's not GTA 6. It's not GTA 6. Or 7. 10. The Ghost of Yotai Edition. They want a brand for. Look at Xbox.
[00:38:07] Take a look at Xbox prices. Look at Xbox prices. Because you're like, oh, what about the PS5s? Look at Xbox prices. The price is going up for worthless pieces of junk. You know what I find funny at the same time? Yeah. At least to my knowledge. You know what console is not going in with price? At least to my knowledge. It's the Steam Machine. Hmm. Because that's already like, yeah. It's already high. It's already high. It's already high.
[00:38:37] What? 1200 on release or something like that? No. You see those prices of Xbox? You see those prices of Xbox? 800. But that's... Tell me a good Xbox game. That's Xbox pricing there for you. But it's been there for a while. Like, that was way before GTA, like, finalized. ROG Xbox Ally is 600. The Legion go to is two grand. I don't know how much different those are. I don't know.
[00:39:06] Let's go find out how much the Steam Deck is. No, Steam Machine. Steam Machine. There we go. Steam Deck. Yeah, right there's the box. Oh, here's the Steam Deck. I just want to see what the price is. So here's your price on the Steam Decks. Damn. And that's just a hand on the crap. Those $1,90 and $9,50. Those definitely got up quite a bit.
[00:39:30] Because I specifically remember release for the 512 OLED was about $550. Nope. That's actually on par with release. Same price. $1,049 for the Steam Machine. Same price. Same price. Yep. Maybe $50 more, I think. But they want $50, $80 for the controller too. Oh, whoa. I mean, that's not terrible.
[00:40:00] If I remember correctly, that was where it was about launch. Yeah. Now we were making fun of the Steam Machine before. Now it's not looking so bad now. It's not looking so bad now. Yeah, I'm cool. I'm all right. You know what? You know what? Well... You know what? Steam Machine, bro. You can get a Steam Machine behind you. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Steam Machine. It just pushes people to PC, sir.
[00:40:27] Except for you can't play GTA 6 on PC right now. Give it three months. Yeah. Anyways, so... And lastly, AI is coming to PlayStation and Epic. Didn't we know that already, though? No, this is a fit. No, this is more than just what they originally were talking about with their patents. Uh...
[00:40:55] No, because we had talked about how AI was going to help you go through levels and stuff. Yeah, this is different. This is completely different. They are now adding in what they call the... So they've got their PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, which is AI upscaling. Okay. They're now bringing... Mm-hmm. They're bringing it to the PS5 in the form of Quick Spectral Super Resolution, which...
[00:41:24] It adds on a streamlined neural network architecture and hand-tuned implementation that maximizes performance on PS5. So basically, the AI is going in saying, hey, this is what needs to upscale. I'm looking at these pictures. I'm sorry. There is not that much of a difference. Uh... To be perfectly honest, so on our screen listeners, there is fidelity mode on the left and fidelity mode with QSSR.
[00:41:52] To be perfectly honest, in my opinion, the fidelity mode on the left looks better than the one with the QSSR. Yes. Yeah, that's crazy. I'm trying to see if there's even a difference. I... To my eyes, like, granted, I'm looking through a screen, to a screen, to another screen. Yeah. Uh... Still, the right side looks blurrier to me than the left side. You know what it is?
[00:42:21] There's a little dot that's like... Okay, so... Oh, I see that. There we go. Okay, so... That's Lego. Okay, so I see a little bit more detail on the right. That's a little. No, I love it. No, I love it. It's so washed out to me. Yeah. It looks so washed out. The colors are so whited, like, increase on brightness and everything. No, I still... Yeah. I... I kind of see that. Very little.
[00:42:50] Yeah, I mean... See, there I see more detail on the right there. No. On the door. On the door has a little bit of sharpness. Yeah, okay. On the door. The most... I guess, yeah. The most important thing in the world. Yeah. Something that Pokemon and Nintendo can figure out with the Pokemon Z-Day. And then they're doing... You've got ray tracing with QSSR. It's the same thing. It is not that much of a difference.
[00:43:18] I mean, like, what do you have to improve on with the ray tracing anyways? I mean, it's just a matter of the shadows and light direction. Like, there isn't much to improve on. I just... Mm. Yeah. It's true, man. And they end the article with... Exactly. ... will be offering broadly to all PlayStation developers and look forward to seeing these improvements in many more titles going forward.
[00:43:45] Like, the game's already looked great in 4K HDR. Like, what more do you need? Yeah. I'm not gonna... You can only polish something so much before it's, you know, not polished anymore. Be true. Yeah. And then on top of that, you've got Epic Games is pivoting to an AI totality future. So... Wow. They have... They're shifting to what they're calling an AI-first development strategy
[00:44:14] where they're deploying it first onto the game that they're making for Walt Disney Company, which is that... That universe, shooter, whatever game thing. Huh. And they want all of their developers to use AI to write the code and everything. Which makes sense because that's kind of how a lot of software companies are doing is the base... It's cutting the work in half. It's created by the guy.
[00:44:44] In this regard, they're actually using it as a tool, correct Theo? They're using it as a tool. I mean, in a way. So it's a shortcut to eliminate the pure basics or the very repetitive... No foundation of your software. They're doing more with it. Okay. You're supposed to do more with it. Yeah. No, no, no.
[00:45:09] It's a matter of starting with the foundation and you're using generative AI with LLM in order to talk through everything. So you pretty much are eliminating the developer for actually writing anything, but you're using the developer for the expertise in the conversation with the AI. Kind of. They are... It's kind of what they want to do. Because AI is not going to be able to identify something wrong with what it's made.
[00:45:36] It requires the developer to point out what is wrong with it. Yeah. They want their... They want the AI tools to be used to make literally everything. So that's about it. The... Write the code. Write the prompts. AI makes the... And go through iterations in order to... Yeah. And I'm sure like the tedious work, like making NPCs or helping make the NPCs or form them... And it wants that.
[00:46:04] That is the workflow of using AI these days. Yeah. I get that. Well, they also want them to use it to do all the graphics. Like all the character design, everything. I mean, I'm not surprised by that. Yeah. Have you seen the AI generated videos out there even on TikTok? Yeah, they're crap. Like with the likenesses of... Some are pretty good. They're pretty good. For the video, okay.
[00:46:30] Like you can still tell that it's AI generated, but it's pretty good likeness. Because... Yeah. The video side, yes. The gaming side, it is terrible. Well, it's because it doesn't understand the gaming. Because it doesn't have a reference in order to go through. Because you're building something from the ground up with a game. Whereas you already have a finished product on something. They haven't adjusted every game known to man. Because all those good looking AI videos are layered on top of another video. So that's why it's still...
[00:46:59] It's not building off of nothing. Yeah. So it's... But AI is finally here in totality. So... Which, you know, that was the trajectory. Trajectory. I can't speak. So... Trajectory. Yes. Just to go down the rabbit hole of Terminator AI and everything and war games and so forth. We're already there. Haven't we...
[00:47:30] Frequently seen the story for training AI is to simulate certain things for it to learn from. Such as Call of Duty and war games and such things. In order to maybe figure out how to defeat us one day. I think we're definitely... We're just training the AI to get rid of us.
[00:47:57] But there's certainly a lot of like TED Talks and you know, like, interviews discussing this matter where, you know, how far are we taking it with AI? And are we using it safely? And I would argue that I think we still aren't. I think we still need to kind of slow down. Yeah. Which I do agree. I'm not...
[00:48:21] I am not fully opposed to AI like some in the podcast right now that anyone says AI, they jump. I see it as a tool. I see it as something that we can use and integrate safely. But with everything that is new... With everything that is new and that comes out that we are just integrating, people are going to misuse it. And we are already misusing it.
[00:48:49] So I do understand the fear. But we cannot lose ourselves to the fact that it can be a great tool. Just like I think in a small comparison how CGI in the film industry has oversaturated the film industry and people overuse it where I think in certain degrees of our generation, we used it correctly as a tool, which made the movie better. Not like these days now.
[00:49:18] But I do feel that we are not... We are headed into a direction that is a bit more dangerous. So let's look at OpenAI had 1200 bots break out of a sandbox environment, which is not supposed to have any internet connection whatsoever. And was out hacking another company's website and using... They took over a wiki board. You can fear monger all you want.
[00:49:48] There are other sides to it that AI has helped. But that example is a matter of showing that how AI was taught. It wasn't taught. It wasn't taught. It was taught. It can't just learn out of... You can't just hack at anything like a baby. You have to be able to learn that in some fashion in order to do that. You have some more motivation in order to do that. Because I mean like for this... AI doesn't have curiosity.
[00:50:17] It's like as a baby, it's like we cover up outlets because curiosity, we're going to stick a fork in it and just electrocute ourselves. Yeah, exactly. It was one of those beaded chains. But anyways... I'm just like with what Jerry's saying.
[00:50:36] I feel like the way that we've utilized AI, that we've abused it as a tool rather than having it essentially learned. Like we've put into the whole spiel about AI is like we got to teach it how to do things. We got to teach it its morality. We've got to teach it... We are...
[00:51:02] The dangerous part of this is that we are treating AI as the solution. But once again, not as a tool to be still learned and harnessed to where as Matt is reasonably fearful of that people are misusing it and it is going awry in some situations. Which... Who are misusing it. Yeah, it's very alarming.
[00:51:27] Which is why I try to see both sides of it. And I do see because... Only because I saw kind of a parallel with CGI, I do see this more like we can utilize it as a tool. But once again, with our hubris as a race, we misuse it and it is scary. And it's scary out there seeing all of these situations, but I do think it can be utilized.
[00:51:58] I mean, I use lies at all the time, but I also misuse it because I'm lazy as hell. I have it do my job on me. But that is depending on your intent. Your intent is to save you minutes of work or like because you just don't want... I get like, I understand that. And that's to a degree still, that's not misusing it. What I think... But what I think in the way that we are kind of...
[00:52:24] With your statement there, I feel like you've opened it up to where that a matter of intent is an open spectrum. Well, it is because it's open out there to the point where now it is dependent on the people, on whoever is using its intent.
[00:52:47] Where really we should be structured to the point where it needs to be a tool. Like that's all, that's my best way that I can describe how we should like kind of... Just food for thought with how you're kind of describing it being in the spectrum. The example of me using AI for the pure motivation of being lazy. Okay? That's on one end of the spectrum. Mm-hmm. Right? Yeah.
[00:53:16] But also on the opposite end of the spectrum, I am proving the usefulness of AI over my existence. To a degree, yes. Yes, there is an argument for that. I do understand that. But once again, you chose to do that. And if you didn't choose to utilize the AI to... And just do it the long way.
[00:53:45] But doesn't that example show that there is the one simple intent has both maximums of good and bad into it? Correct. Which is why... How do you end up determining... I think it should be regulated. How do you end up determining the correct use of something?
[00:54:07] Because AI should be, I think, regulated to a degree that, you know, maybe it makes us utilize it as a tool. And not so much as a free form. Well... Because we have that choice. We're gonna click that because you just told Matt has to use AI going forward. You're forcing it on him. No, no, no, no. Not forcing it. What I'm saying is like, if we are to use it... You literally said to make people use AI as a tool.
[00:54:37] Not to make... Like, not... Okay. Bad choice of words. I'm not saying to make people use AI. If you are using AI, there should be regulations that make the people that want to use it... It has... They have to utilize it as a tool. There are only settings set that they use it as a tool, not as an open source. It requires human interface. Something like that.
[00:55:06] Before we get too far, we're already neck deep into this rabbit hole. How about we just ask Jason what he's been playing and what he's been watching? Wow. What have I been playing? Nothing really. Pulls right out of that rabbit hole. Wow. I've been watching Better Call Saul. I'm on season two of Better Call Saul. Oh, nice. It is October, so...
[00:55:36] I'm trying to, but not really watch some horror movies in the background. I tried. I was like, I can't find anything. Yeah, it's tough. How do you necessarily watch a horror movie in the background? I just feel like most of it is silence and screaming. So how do you know what's going on? I'm still playing a game. Yeah, I do that too.
[00:56:06] Although every once in a while, the jump scares will still get me because I'm not paying attention. And I'm like, oh shit. Like, because of the flashes. I'm like, oh damn. Oh, hell no. But yeah. Other than that, nothing really has been going on. Oh, uh, my wife beat Cult of the Lamb or she beat it. I helped her. Dope. New DLC? Yeah. Oh, sweet, dude. You beat the DLC. That was on the switch, right, Jay? Yeah. Yeah.
[00:56:36] Sweet. Uh, Woolhaven, I believe. Uh, um. Woolhaven? That's funny. Yeah. I saw that on my... We played that. We beat that, uh, expansion. That was pretty cool. It's pretty difficult actually, not gonna lie. It was actually kind of difficult. Well, getting the hang of it was pretty difficult. And then I was like, oh shit. So... What do you mean by getting the hang of it? Really? Like, you know, it's one of those words I feel... Yeah.
[00:57:06] Uh, when you go through the, uh, fight multiple times, you start learning like, okay, what's the pattern and stuff like that. Yeah. Spent like a bit or two on it, so... So just a little bit harder patterns? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I would hope for that. It gave a little bit of a challenge. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it was, it was actually pretty difficult. So it was, it was worth it and it's been fun.
[00:57:36] So now we done. So... Uh, are you on to, uh, have you finished Resident Evil or is that still a... On the queue? Uh, Rona finished Resident Evil. My wife finished it. Yeah. Nice. Uh, I actually finished that. I forget. Is it Resident Evil 3 that you're playing or what? Uh, no, it was, uh... 9. Requiem. Number 9. Okay. So... Yep.
[00:58:04] Um, I haven't like, I haven't been playing any other games lately. You know? Usumusume. Yep. Yep. We'll keep it up. Mahjong. So Mahjong. Yep. Dope. So Mahjong at lunch. You know? What about your, uh... My breaks, my breaks have... Which one? The Mahjong league. Not the bowling league. The Mahjong league. Oh, no, no, no, no. I was... I mean like, I'll do... Oh, did Pan out?
[00:58:34] Oh, okay. I'll do the Mahjong night tonight, maybe. Oh, okay. Uh, but, uh, fantasy football. It's, uh, taking over my breaks at work. Wow. Oh, sweet. Yeah. Yeah. I still don't have any understanding of how that works, but... That's okay. It's fine. Uh, but yeah, lunch is Mahjong and then my 15 or 10 minute breaks are just looking at my team, looking at players and stuff. Nice.
[00:59:01] So, uh, you, you have a mobile app that you can use it, right? Oh, yeah. I use the app. Yeah, dope. ESPN, so... It's all good. First year mistake we made was, uh, we, we had to log in through a computer on our, like, on our league and we were like, dude, we gotta rethink those. Yeah. We had to, we used a new system, but yeah. Definitely rookies. Theo?
[00:59:25] Uh, play wise, I have been back to my regular bullshit with a Minecraft world. Yeah. Uh, and otherwise I've been fighting for democracy with the boys. Yeah. Uh, still need to break my habit of breaking off from the team and doing my own thing. So I need to, I need to work with the team more.
[00:59:51] Uh, I know Jerry's pretty good of bridging between me and Matt pretty well, but I, I, I, I try work on it. I'm not much of a soldier, more of the, the, the rogue, I guess. Lone wolf. Lone wolf. Uh, other than that, uh, not too much.
[01:00:15] Uh, still messing with the pokemons a bit, uh, getting flooded, uh, with those and spending too much money. But other than that. So we know where you're going to be at when we go to Franken's last next week. Okay. Uh, no, I'm going to depend on both of you to, uh, keep me away from. It's a dude, bro. It's a big area. And like, Oh, I know they redid that area. Yeah. Okay. I'm sure.
[01:00:42] You trust us when Jerry's the devil on the shoulder that just always says, but I'm usually, I am good because every time we go to Franken's sons and he sees the, uh, Sentinel. I'm the one that tells him just do it. Oh God. I was trying to fall. I pass by another 97 resists me. I pass by another 97 one today. Okay. Every time.
[01:01:08] So what you're saying is when we go into Franken's sons, we need to take your phone, your wallet and your watch into our possession. Jesus. Yeah, pretty much. Okay. Oh, dang. Yeah, that's right. That's all. No physical cards and no Apple pay. Digital cards. I'm certainly not traveling with anything for trade or anything like that. So, nope. Oh, we'll have to, we'll definitely have to. Yeah. Yeah. Just a restrain your distractor from that area. I'm sorry.
[01:01:37] Isn't that where they put hot wheel cars though, Jerry? Uh, yeah. Oh dude. That's, that's also where, yeah, that's right. That's also where they redid that area. I think I sent you that photo of that whole wall. Like it's a whole fricking wall, bro. At Franken's or the other place? No, at Franken's it's, it's along in the same side with the Pokemon cards. It's, it's like a whole, I'm talking like a full on whole wall, all done with all like Hot Wheels classics. Every part of the lines. Yeah.
[01:02:07] Just imagine if it was, um, planes, uh, jets instead. Oh dude. For Matt. That'd be insane. Oh man. No, because those are $200 a pop. Oh dang. Oh yeah. Well, I mean, probably the ones that you prefer. I mean like, I'm sure there's some cheap ones. Like you enjoy it. You know, it might be worth it dude. Don't get me wrong.
[01:02:34] Like I enjoy them on my shelf, but I'm not going, I'm not going to spend $200 right now on this trip. Like, no. Hey, Jerry. Uh, let's see. Um, obviously, uh, Hell Diver's been, uh, fighting for democracy with you guys. Awesome. Uh, and then I've actually, uh, dude, I've restarted a whole new play of, uh, tears of the kingdom. Wow. And, uh, yeah, I'm actually really enjoying it.
[01:03:03] Um, only because, uh, I am very sure there were some updates because, uh, I, it's easier to find zone night. Uh, it's not as prevalent to use, um, the, the, um, create a tool. You know, I only use it when I kind of have to enshrines or something like stuff like that. Uh, I've kind of just been doing my own thing and going through the story. It's been nice. It's kind of getting the feeling of breath again.
[01:03:30] So, uh, cause I definitely did feel like I had to create. Yes. Things in order to progress. Totally. Totally. Enemies and stuff just to like give myself an upper hand. But so, I mean, to a degree, like I, I don't know, I guess because of how I play, I, uh, there are other ways around that, like the armored enemies or the bigger enemies.
[01:03:53] I'll just go down, uh, the ruins, like the underground, the, uh, um, and then dude, collect a whole bunch of bomb, uh, bomb flowers cause they bloom there. And then I'll, I'll kill whatever I see there because now whatever you kill under, under those ruins, you get zone night. And then you can mine it as well. Yeah. Like I already have enough. I just, I, before you only could mine it before. You can only mine it.
[01:04:20] And then as, as long as you like, yeah, like found it, uh, raw, uh, you needed a hundred in order to get like 20 crystallized and then crystallized gives you batteries, which you need a hundred of those. So like I'm already there, but like now I need to wait until I can buy more crystallized or find another way for crystallized. That's the only thing. But other than that, I really haven't had to depend on my battery. I've just been going through the story and it's been fine.
[01:04:49] So, uh, I'm enjoying that now. And, uh, other than that, what have I been watching? I've just been watching, um, a few movies here and there. I'm really just kind of anticipating GTA. I'm not going to lie to you. I'm just kind of, uh, like really antsy for it. So I'm kind of just distracting myself other than hell divers. Cause that's like really, really fun. I forget. When's the release on GTA? I think it's the 19th of November.
[01:05:20] So you said, yeah, but yeah. Yeah. And then, uh, yeah, that's it. I've just, and then I just got done house sitting and nice to be home. And there you go. Matt, what about you, bud? Hell divers. Uh, also, uh, from a gaming perspective, uh, I maxed out all of my compatibilities on the final fantasy residence demo. So I am ready to go.
[01:05:50] And that transfers over, right? Yeah. Transfer over. That's super cool. I love it when they, I love it that they do that. So I will be playing that game. And most likely you're probably going to get some items when the, when the game comes out too, it'll probably give you some, uh, I do have, I do have, uh, the deluxe preordered. So there are some preorder items and other items that you get for the game as well. So those are going to be ready as well.
[01:06:18] Um, yeah, so I've got that preordered for that comes out next Thursday. 20 second. Oh, okay. Along with, uh, Nintendo sports resort or switch sports resort. Wait, final fantasy comes out that wait a minute. Wait, which one? Residence comes out. Residence. No way. That's revelation. That's final revelation. Thank you. I keep thinking of resonance, which is the 2d 3d. That's right. That's right. You're doing.
[01:06:48] I keep forgetting. Um, yeah, you're getting that. Yes, I am. I'm dude. I'm just as much of a final fantasy nerd as Jason is. Let's be honest. Oh yeah. Um, so I've got that waiting for me. Plus, uh, sports resort. Um, I picked up. Splatoon Raiders. Yeah. And you've been enjoying it. I've been having fun with it now. Nice. That being said, I don't know for me.
[01:07:18] Once I'm done with the game, how much of a replay value there's going to be though. So really? One and done. Yeah. Cause like Splatoon after a while kind of got old, you know, because it's just a really go play multiplayer kind of that's it. Um, okay. So it's nice doing it from a first player, uh, just a single player perspective. But that being said, um, once you kind of learn the tricks of the system, you can kind of just make it a cakewalk.
[01:07:48] So, oh wow. Yeah. So we'll see, but I'm having fun with it. You know, it's just mindless. Oh, cool. Cool. Yeah. And then I'm, I'm on my bullshit for animal crossing. Oh, back on it. Playing it, playing it on your switch to on my switch to sweet, you know, which allowed us to now know an official number of how many hours. Yeah. Played on that.
[01:08:18] Yeah. What are, where are we at on that? Yeah. What I was actually curious. I forgot. Let's look at the, uh, I just remember it was over 1500. I am. If you track it currently right now, it is 1,510 hours. Damn. That was close. That's close. That's not bad. Holy crap, man. That's actually not bad.
[01:08:44] Cause I, I definitely like showed us the, the screen, the picture like a few weeks ago. Yeah. And I still, I feel like that was like right at 1500. So like 10 hours over a couple of weeks. That's not bad. No, there's definitely some, uh, red dead two numbers right there, bro. Good job. That's cool. It hasn't updated. Like, cause there's certain milestones that's got to hit hour wise before it'll update, you know, to the next ticker and stuff. I would really like to know your, your, your, your play time. I'll have to, I'm going to have to look it up, dude.
[01:09:15] And then watching wise, uh, I did a rewatch of the Ant-Man trilogy. Oh yeah, that's right. Because I'd never seen two and three. Okay. Oh, okay. So, I mean, two, two with the exception of the cut scene, essentially there was really no point. Yeah. Yeah. Three, three was unfortunate. Everything. Yeah.
[01:09:44] Three was just unfortunate. Cause I, I, I felt there was so much promise with, uh, gang. Yeah. And with Jonathan, uh, majors. I, I just like, yeah, that was just such an unfortunate situation. And then, uh, started to rewatch the Smallville this week. And why is that? Cause it was the anniversary. That's right. Very cool. So do I really need an excuse to do a rewatch on Smallville? Oh no, no.
[01:10:14] Same reason why I watched like Firefly or the office. Yeah. So then two rewatches of Spider-Man brand new day this week. Nice. You bought it. Oh my God. I have to watch it. Yeah. I had a pre-order. Oh, sweet. Did you not watch it in theaters? Came out last Tuesday. Yeah. Oh yeah, I did, but I still want to watch it. Yeah. It's 30 bucks. Yeah, I know. I'm waiting. Yeah. Anyways. I don't remember pre-ordering at 30. So pre-order it at 20. Pre-order.
[01:10:43] When you pre-order it like way beforehand, you actually, it's discounted. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. All right. So with that, I want to thank everyone for watching tonight along with us and crashing game night. If you like what you saw, like what you heard. Jason's doing what I think. Yeah. He's like falling asleep and he's like, yeah. Yeah. Hey, Jerry. There he is.
[01:11:11] If you like what you heard, like what you saw, please drop us to follow here or on the platform of your choice. Head over to question game night.com. Check out our past guests. Things are getting crazy out there, especially here in the States as we get closer to election day in a couple of weeks. So just please be excellent to each other. That's right. That's right. Everyone. Once again, we want you to, you know, wait, hold up. Where's Jerry?
[01:11:39] I hear him, but I can't see him. You can't see me. Yeah, that's right. Everyone. We want everyone to enjoy themselves, you know, but overall, please, as Matt said, it is crazy out there. We're going to be getting even crazier with everything coming up. You know, just be mindful. Let's try to be a little bit more open and let's just try to do and be better and, you
[01:12:09] know, lend a hand whenever we can and seize the moment to help someone. So, yeah, be safe out there. J-Bo, J-Rock. Are you there? What's up, dude? Yeah. Hey, how's it going, baby? It's okay. It's been a very, you know, chill night for me. Right on. It's nothing too exciting. I got the consoles already that I want. So, you know, I'm not worried about the prices. All right.
[01:12:40] And then at the same time, too, we didn't talk about Marvel. Thank God. And, you know, the homeboys are coming through within a week. We fly in on Tuesday. That's right. Yeah. So, you know, we just chill. We're going to save our energy. We're going to be relaxing. You know, have some good time. That's right, baby. I own an energy and that was like the whole Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for. Yeah.
[01:13:10] It's going to be interesting because, you know, like, make sure you bring that ring though, bro. You know, that's right, baby. It's coming back to Cali. I mean, do I have to bring it with me? I mean, do I have to bring it with me? Does it need to be moved that much? Like, I don't know. Oh, just in case. This guy. This guy. This guy. He's good at go. He's thinking that he's going to win. He might win. Yeah. I like it. I like it. I like it. We'll see. It's coming back to Cali.
[01:13:40] But yeah. So, I mean, it is, it is the middle of October. So, please, you know, yeah. Just like baby saying, it's getting crazy out there. Hey, go to some Halloween parties. I know it's early, but still never too early. Have some fun out there. Be safe. You know, Halloween is right around the corner. I might need a shot for a costume. I'm not sure yet. I don't know yet either. But we'll find out. But anyways, you know, it's that time of night. My man.
[01:14:10] My man, Diyawalski. Send us out like you do. You. You. I mean, I feel so weird doing this without being able to see Jerry. But it's like kind of creepy. Like, I don't know if he's behind me. Or just like naked in front of me. Just a helicopter. Like, I don't know. But. You can't see me. Jesus. Helicopter. Helicopter. Well, everybody out there. Thank you for watching. Thanks for listening. Until next time. GTFN. Sa-ta-ta-na.
[01:14:40] Night, everybody.
